Next Walk 23 Aug 2026. Sunday's ramble is a 7 miler from Wellingborough. Free parking at the Swansgate multi-storey car park (toilets available I'm told). After parking please cross the road and we shall meet in front of the Wellingborough museum (sadly closed) to start our walk. This walk is a mix of countryside and river bank walking and some urban stretches alongside a main road - safely on a pavement, and a busy road to cross via light controlled crossing. We will stop at Great Doddington Village Garden for our lunch break - village shop next door if you need to top up your picnic supplies - and we pass a pub at Wilby. I'm sure we can find another pub or coffee shop at the finish line. And for those shoppers amongst you - Rushden Lakes isn't far away and we will be finished in time for you to pop in on your way home. https://huntsramblers.org.uk/walks-programme.html
