Went back to Nottingham yesterday for a get together with some beautiful souls I've been blessed to meet and share apart of my live with even though it was a difficult time for me aged 16 to 17 ❤️

Yesterday wasn’t just a get together.

It was a reminder of how far I've come.

Sometimes we carry emotional pain, shame, sadness for the years we struggled the most. But those years also built resilience, awareness, empathy, and strength we often don’t recognise until much later in life.

❤️‍🩹 The healing process is strange. ❤️‍🩹

One day you suddenly realise the younger version of you survived things the current version of you would never accept again.

And that matters as some wounds become wisdom if you survive them long enough.

If you’re in a difficult season right now, remember your story is not finished yet. ❤️

💭💭💭 I think one of the hardest things in life is realising how long you’ve carried old stories about yourself without even noticing.

Lately I’ve been feeling like I’m closing one chapter of my life and slowly stepping into another. Not perfectly, not with everything figured out, but with more awareness of my own worth and what I will and won’t carry anymore.

Life hasn’t gone the way I imagined it would, and rebuilding again at this stage of life can feel overwhelming at times. But I’m starting to realise that starting again doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Sometimes it just means life is asking you to build from a truer place.

So today I’m letting go of old feelings of rejection, old doubts, and the need to prove myself to people who never really saw me clearly.

A quieter chapter. A stronger one. ✨

There’s something quietly sad about seeing a once-busy market square fall silent… but today reminded me that the heart of it isn’t gone, it’s just changed.

I came across a lovely lady today Rainbowtreasureden She created these beautifully handmade coasters, each one completely unique. The detail, the colour, the intention behind them… you can feel it ❤️. They’ll sit perfectly in my healing room 💫

What stayed with me most though was the conversation, genuine, warm, and passionate about her craft. That’s the part that still matters.
