If you keep waiting until you feel confident, motivated, or fully prepared, you may stay stuck longer than necessary.

Writing confidence is often built through action — not before it.

Your first chapter does not need to be perfect.
Your first draft does not need to be perfect.
You simply need to begin.

Small actions repeated consistently create finished books.

What is one thing stopping you from starting right now?

Did you know?
Avascular necrosis of the hip has been reported in sickle cell trait carriers too — rare, but documented in the medical literature.
Hip pain isn’t always “just strain.”

For some people living with sickle cell trait (SCT), persistent, worsening, or unexplained hip pain may deserve a closer look.

Avascular necrosis (AVN), also called osteonecrosis, happens when blood supply to part of the bone becomes reduced, leading to bone damage over time. Whilst AVN is more commonly linked to sickle cell disease, 'rare' cases have also been reported in individuals with SCT.

If your pain is ongoing, affecting mobility, worsening over time, or feels different from usual aches and pains — please advocate for yourself and seek medical assessment.

Awareness saves joints. Early investigation matters.

Healing is rarely linear.
Sometimes grief hides beneath survival mode until your body finally feels safe enough to release it.
If you’re rebuilding after trauma, illness, loss, or life changes — you are not walking alone. 🤍

Sometimes chronic illness doesn’t just change the body — it changes identity, relationships, confidence, purpose, and the future we once imagined.

For a long time, I thought surviving was the same as living. It wasn’t.

My latest article with Brainz Magazine explores grief, adaptation, rebuilding identity, and learning how to create joy again when life no longer looks the way you expected.

If chronic illness, disability, trauma, or loss has changed your world, I hope this reminds you that different does not mean less.

Nobody enjoys waiting seasons.

Whether you are waiting for healing, breakthrough, answers from past seasons, or for alignment in future relationships, the right business connection or partnership, or learning to navigate finances well, or in need of direction in any other area of your life where you perhaps feel stuck — waiting can feel painful when life seems to stand still.

Yet throughout scripture, wilderness seasons were rarely wasted seasons.

Sometimes waiting is where healing happens.
Sometimes waiting is where identity is rebuilt.
Sometimes waiting is where obedience is refined.
Sometimes waiting is where God develops the parts of us that hurried seasons could never reach.

If you are in a waiting season right now, perhaps the question is not:
*"Why am I still here?"*
but rather:
*"What is this season producing within me?"*

Remember — waiting well does not mean standing still. It means continuing to steward what is already in your hands whilst remaining faithful with what God has entrusted to you today.

So many aspiring writers believe they need to be “more qualified” before they can write something meaningful.
But often, the most powerful stories are not written from perfection — they are written from lived experience.
The battles you fought privately.
The healing journey nobody saw.
The identity shifts.
The lessons learned in survival mode.
That is where authentic writing is born.
Your lived experience carries wisdom, emotion, perspective, and relatability that somebody else in the world desperately needs.
Do not underestimate the value of your voice simply because your story became familiar to you.
✨ Your experiences are not wasted.
✨ Your story has purpose.
✨ Your voice deserves space on the page.
