Great to see such significant progress across the NHS 👏

The latest data released by NHS England shows a major milestone has been reached, with 65.3% of patients now waiting 18 weeks or less for treatment - the biggest improvement in waiting times in over a decade.

📉 The overall waiting list has fallen by more than 500,000 since July 2024, now sitting at its lowest level in 3.5 years, while nearly half a million fewer people are waiting beyond 18 weeks.

There’s still lots to do, and as a clinical homecare provider, we will continue to play our part in supporting this progress 🏡 🩺. By delivering care directly to your home, we help reduce pressure on hospital services, free up capacity, and ensure that all patients receive timely, convenient treatment where they feel most comfortable.

On behalf of our fantastic colleague, we’re helping to raise awareness for Williams Syndrome 💚

Williams Syndrome is a rare developmental condition caused by the deletion of 27 genes on chromosome 7. It can affect learning, development, and overall health and is estimated to impact around 1 in 10,000 people worldwide. Individuals with Williams Syndrome are often known for their highly social, friendly, and empathetic personalities.

👉 Raising awareness is especially meaningful for our Service Quality Manager, Lou, whose granddaughter was born with the condition.

💬“For me, this month is personal. My granddaughter, now 12 years old, was born with Williams Syndrome, and she continues to bring so much joy, warmth, and perspective to our family.

She has a real love of music, and the gentlest, kind nature - especially with animals and birds, which seem to be naturally drawn to her.

This year has been particularly special, as she proudly represented her school as a school councillor and even had the opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament - a moment we were all incredibly proud of.

Like many families, we have learned so much along the way - about patience, resilience, and celebrating every achievement, no matter how big or small.

Raising awareness helps people better understand Williams Syndrome and the individuals and families it touches. It’s about recognising differences, showing kindness, and creating a more inclusive and supportive world.”💬 – Lou, Service Quality Manager.
