💉 10 vaccinations to discuss before your next trip:

• Hepatitis A — at least 25 years after a full course.
• Hepatitis B — long-term protection; most healthy people need no routine boosters after a full course.
• Yellow fever — lifelong protection for most people after one dose.
• Typhoid — usually 3 years.
• Tetanus, diphtheria & polio — a travel booster may be advised if your last dose was over 10 years ago.
• Cholera (Dukoral) — 2 years for ages 6+; 6 months for ages 2–5.
• Meningococcal ACWY — boosters every 5 years may be advised for ongoing risk.
• Rabies — usually no routine boosters after a full pre-exposure course; bites or scratches still require urgent medical care.
• Japanese encephalitis — a first booster may be needed after 12–24 months if further exposure is expected.
• Tick-borne encephalitis — first booster within 3 years, then every 3–5 years depending on age and risk.
