What an incredible experience at Ideas Fest 2026! 🔥💚

We were incredibly proud to see our founder, , represent Discussing Mental Health as a guest speaker on the Campfire panel.

A huge thank you to the LEGEND Isabel Pollen, an absolute powerhouse who still showed up with a broken foot, complete with fairy lights on her boot! We also want to thank our brilliant moderator, Alice Dartnell, and fellow speakers Amani Kaite, Claudia Massera and Becky Grace Irwing for speaking so openly about burnout, recovery and what it truly takes to rebuild, not only professionally, but personally too.

Special thanks to Frankie James and the entire Ideas Fest team for giving Stephanie this opportunity and creating a space where honest conversations about mental health can happen. The atmosphere was incredible!!! peak energy, friendly faces, and zero ego.

This experience has strengthened our commitment to bringing honest, preventative mental-health conversations into businesses and founder communities.

Ideas Fest 2027, we would love to return, continue the conversation, and take it even further. Let’s make it happen. 💚

Discussing Mental Health is heading to Ideas Fest 2026! 💡

We’re excited to share that our Founder, Stephanie Bashford, will be joining Amani Kaite, Becky Grace Irwing and Claudia Massera at Ideas Fest for an important conversation about burnout in business.

They’ll be getting into the reality of burnout, how to recognise the warning signs, what recovery can actually look like, and, importantly, how we can build businesses and careers at a pace that is genuinely sustainable.

At Discussing Mental Health, we believe conversations like these matter. Mental health shouldn’t only become a priority once somebody reaches breaking point. We need to get better at recognising the signs earlier and creating healthier ways of working before burnout takes over.

Expect different perspectives, real experiences, audience involvement and plenty of honest conversation. 🔥

📍 Ideas Fest - Camp Fire
📅 Thursday 10th September
⏰ 12:00-12:45

Heading to Ideas Fest? Come and join the conversation.

Introducing Community Creative Remedies 💚

We're excited to be launching our first Community Creative Remedies pilot in partnership with Art4Space.

At Discussing Mental Health, we believe mental well-being isn't one-size-fits-all. Creativity, connection, and community all have an important role to play, and this programme is about creating space for people to experience that together.

Over 10 weeks, participants will explore ceramics, mosaics, textiles, and other creative activities in a supportive environment. Alongside the talented Art4Space team, our trainee Art Psychotherapist, Dodi, will be there to provide wellbeing support throughout the programme.

This is an exciting step for us as we continue exploring more holistic ways to support mental health within our communities.

📍 Art4Space, Stockwell, London
📅 Starts 9 October
💚 Free to attend (12 spaces available)

✨ Scan the QR code on the poster to register.

We can't wait to welcome our first group.

A difficult conversation worth having 💪🏻💚

Trigger Warning

This video contains discussions of grief, domestic abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, manipulation, trauma, and mental health struggles. Some viewers, particularly survivors of domestic, emotional, or narcissistic abuse, may find the content distressing.

Please take care while watching. If you need to pause, step away, or seek support, that's completely okay. My intention in sharing my story is to raise awareness, encourage healing, and remind anyone who has experienced abuse that they are not alone.

Yesterday, our CEO attended the Female Founders Rise | Entrepreneur Community B2B Summer Retreat, a brilliant day focused on growth, connection and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to Emmie Faust and the team for bringing together such an inspiring community of women building businesses with purpose.

Thank you to WorkSpa - Workplace Wellbeing for the amazing breathwork and wellbeing session, and to BloomsYard | London Café & Wine Bar for providing such a beautiful space.

At Discussing Mental Health, we believe wellbeing is built through connection, community and practical tools that support mental health.

We left feeling inspired and excited for the collaborations ahead.

If you're looking for a community that embraces life as it is, holistic, honest, messy, and real, you're in the right place.

We don't pretend healing is linear. We don't filter the hard conversations. We don't chase perfection.

Discussing Mental Health talks openly about mental health, trauma, growth, setbacks, resilience, and everything in between. No masks. No toxic positivity. Just REAL people having REAL conversations.

If that resonates with you, stay tuned!

If you're looking for polished perfection or surface-level conversations, this probably isn't your space sorry... and that's also okay.

We're here for authenticity. Always 💚
