Garfield 🐱 | Work in progress

Sometimes, tattooing doesn’t go exactly as planned, and that’s part of the process.

During this session, we noticed that the skin wasn’t taking the ink as expected. We had already spent longer than anticipated working on this area, so rather than continuing to put unnecessary stress on the skin, we made the decision to stop and leave the piece unfinished for now.

Knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how to tattoo. Every area of skin responds differently, and pushing through when the skin isn’t cooperating isn’t always the right choice.

We’ll pick this one back up when the skin is ready. The priority is always to work responsibly and give the tattoo the best possible result. 🖤

🌸 5-hour session — floral work in progress 🦋

Really happy with how this piece is coming together! We made great progress in this session, finishing earlier than expected and leaving us both very happy with the result.

The lilies, butterflies and delicate details are starting to come together beautifully, and we’re already thinking about how we could extend the design and make it even bigger in future sessions.

5 HOURS OF WORK — HAND PROJECT IN PROGRESS 💀🖤

5 hours into this project! We worked on the lettering across the hand and fingers, mapped out all the fingers and started building up the black.

There’s still a lot to do, including finishing the blackwork and adding white highlights inside the fingers to bring everything together with the existing hand tattoo.

We had to stop earlier than planned because of the sensitivity of the area, but we’re both really happy with how the project is progressing. We’ll take our time and keep building it up session by session.

A dream 13 years in the making. 🖤✍️

Second 5-hour session working on this hand piece! Finger tattoos are always a challenge, and with parts of the design developed freehand, we’re taking our time to make sure every detail gets the attention it deserves.

This has been a dream of hers for 13 years, so there’s no rushing the process. We’re building this piece carefully, one detail at a time, with plenty more projects planned together once the hand is complete. 👽🖤

God’s Plan — a little extra light and contrast. 💜👽

We revisited this piece to add a soft, cloudy effect with violet and white dotwork, giving the tattoo more depth, light and contrast without going for heavy, fully saturated colour.

Cheetah in progress 🐆🖤

Third day of the Tattoo Pass, and we had to listen to the skin and give it a break. After several consecutive sessions, the area was getting too sensitive to continue comfortably, so we’ll finish this piece in another session. Good tattoos take time, and the client’s comfort always comes first. 👽🖤

One of my favourite pieces I’ve done so far! 🖤🦅

This one was part of a 5-hour Tattoo Pass session, and we dedicated the entire session to this piece. The knee is a challenging and painful area to tattoo, so we took our time, worked through each stage carefully, and focused on getting the best possible result. Every layer, every shadow and every white highlight was worth it! 👽🔥
