I think one of the strangest parts of getting older is realising that you can look like you have everything figured out… while still having absolutely no idea what you’re doing in certain areas of your life 😂
There are parts of my life I’m really proud of. Things I’ve built, decisions I’ve made, risks I’ve taken and versions of myself I’ve grown into.
But there’s also a side people don’t always see.
The overthinking.
The questioning myself.
Having 100 ideas at once and then getting overwhelmed by all 100 of them.
Trying to work out what “balance” even means when you genuinely love what you do.
Learning that you can be ambitious and still need rest.
And realising that building something of your own can somehow feel incredibly exciting and a little lonely at the exact same time.
I think for a long time I assumed there would eventually be a point where I’d feel like, okay… now I’ve got it all figured out.
I’m starting to realise that point probably doesn’t exist 😂
You just make one decision, learn something, change your mind, grow a little, make another decision… and somehow build your life as you go.
And actually, I think I’m becoming more comfortable with that.
I still have big goals. I still want to do a million things. I’ll probably always be someone with too many ideas in her head 😂
But I’m getting much better at trusting myself enough to know that I don’t need to have the entire plan yet.
I’ll figure it out as I go 🤍
