June catch up ☀️
This month has basically been one long heatwave and we’ve all just been trying to survive it without melting into the shop floor.
Not loads of photos this time round because, honestly, it was too hot to function properly most days. Lots of ice cream breaks, air-con on full blast, and the general chaos of sleepless nights thanks to the weather.
Nikki’s been living her best life wild swimming when she’s not been busy getting acquainted with her new puppy Frida 🐶 (tiny terrier, maximum chaos). She also made it to the Friday Kahlo exhibition in London for a slightly more cultured moment.
Chris has been bonding with sphynx cats, which feels like a very on-brand summer activity after he@got back from Fuerteventura.
Ruth went to Japan, and also managed to have a brief “off-road experience” involving a moped and a fence… she’s fine, the ego took most of the damage.
Naz managed to squeeze in a quick weekend escape to Snowdonia in Wales, swapping the heat for mountains, fresh air, and a much-needed reset.
Back at the shop it’s been steady, nothing wild to report, just good work, lots of sweat, and counting down the days until it cools down a bit.
