From textiles and jewellery making to the many roles she’s taken on at Community Focus, Sara has shared her skills, encouraged ideas and helped our students create work to be proud of.

These flowers come with a huge thank you from all of us. We’re really sad to see you go, Sara, but wish you a very happy retirement. You’ll be much missed!

Summer’s over. But what a summer it was!

We’re taking one last look back at our brilliant Community Focus Summer Exhibition & Festival at , where we packed four weeks with art, creativity and plenty of reasons to celebrate!

From our flagship exhibition and hands-on workshops to the Dis-labled Podcast Community Forum, it was a fantastic showcase of the talent, imagination and hard work of our students.

And what a turnout! It was wonderful to see so many friends, families and visitors coming together to enjoy the artwork, meet our artists and celebrate everything they’ve achieved.

A special shout-out to Ben for his brilliant festival poster, and a HUGE thank you to everyone who made the festival such a success, especially our supporters The National Lottery Community Fund, City Bridge Foundation and

Four weeks, countless creative moments and some very proud artists. Same again next year?

What’s the point of Community Focus? 🤔

Well, apart from making brilliant art, discovering hidden talents, making lifelong friends, learning new skills, having a laugh and finding somewhere you can truly be yourself… not much, really. 🎨😏

We’re Community Focus Inclusive Arts, based at Friary House, Friary Park, North Finchley, London N12.

From children and young people to artists in their 80s and 90s, there’s a place for everyone here. Whether you’re interested in art, making friends, trying something new or just being part of something special, come and see what we’re about!
