Mindapples

Mindapples We help people look after their minds. Mindapples has been promoting public mental health and wellbeing across the UK since 2008.

Our vision is of a world where taking care of our minds is natural and normal for everyone. We want to help people feel comfortable talking about their minds and exploring what works for them. We run campaigns and education programmes; publish books, pamphlets and apps; and support other charities, schools, universities and healthcare bodies. We provide tools, training and a framework for talking about mental health.

Universities put enormous care into welcoming students. But what about when they leave?

Graduation can mean a new job, a new city, a new routine. And suddenly, no safety net. It's one of the biggest transitions in a young person's life, and it often goes completely unsupported.

We've been thinking about what students need at this stage, and while career advice is helpful, there are practical and relational skills we need to thrive in the workplace.

Our new blog is all about this, and if you work in higher education, it might be worth a read 👀

"It's good that we have conversations about mental health and how to improve it. The more we normalise it, the better."
