What a fantastic day teaching Emmett! 😊

A huge thank you to my three wonderful students today. It was a pleasure to spend the day with you all and watch your confidence grow as the moves started to click into place.

There were plenty of those classic Emmett moments throughout the day... the surprised faces, the laughter, and the inevitable "How did I do that?" expressions when movement suddenly became easier and more comfortable!

I'm sorry Jo wasn't able to make it today you were missed and I hope to see you soon.

Days like today remind me why I love teaching. Seeing people discover simple techniques that can help themselves, their family and friends is incredibly rewarding.

Well done everyone, you've all done brilliantly! 💙

I'm all set and ready to teach today's Emmett Technique workshop.
One of the things I love most about these workshops is that they're not just for therapists or healthcare professionals. They're for anyone who wants to learn simple, practical techniques to help themselves, family members, friends, or colleagues feel more comfortable and move more freely.
It's always amazing to see how gentle movements can make such a noticeable difference, and I can't wait to share that knowledge with today's attendees.
Looking forward to a day of learning, laughter, and plenty of "wow" moments!

If I’m honest… I’m feeling this heat myself today 🥵😂
After 3 weeks of hard work helping build the new rockery for Mirfield in Bloom, my body is definitely reminding me I’m not 21 anymore 🌿💪
The aching back… The stiff shoulders… The tired legs… And the “I’ll just sit down for 5 minutes” that turns into an hour 😂
Sometimes even therapists need to listen to their own advice too.
So this is your little Motivational Monday reminder 💛
✨ Rest without guilt
✨ Drink the water
✨ Pace yourself in this heat
✨ Stop ignoring those aches and pains
Because pushing through constantly catches up with all of us eventually.
Hot weather, stress, gardening, lifting, work, family life… it all takes its toll on the body.

To remember those who fought, those who lost, and those who carried on rebuilding a world from the ground up.
Strength isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s quiet endurance.
Sometimes it’s simply keeping going when everything feels uncertain.

A little Bank Holiday catch-up… with a Motivational Monday twist
While most people were enjoying a well-earned rest, me and a couple of lovely neighbours decided to make the most of it 💪
✔️ Gave an old, unsightly shack a fresh lick of paint (what a transformation!)
✔️ Shifted soil and stones ready for our next project
✔️ Tidied and planted pots in an elderly resident’s garden 🌸
Nothing fancy… just good old-fashioned teamwork and community spirit ❤️
A perfect reminder that Motivational Monday doesn’t have to be about big gestures… sometimes it’s the simple things that make the biggest difference.
Not a bad way to spend a Bank Holiday if you ask me 😉
