On Monday 21st September, we’re holding a coffee morning to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

🌿 Our New Weekly Wellness Walk Has Started! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

This week saw the start of our new weekly Wellness Walk, with a small group of residents heading out to enjoy a gentle stroll around the local park.

For some, it brought back happy memories of times gone by, while for others it was an opportunity to explore the area and enjoy something a little different.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the fresh air, the surroundings and each other’s company. A wonderful time was had by all who joined us! 💚

🌞🎉 Today we kick-started our Summer Carnival Week with some fantastic live entertainment from Kev and Marie! 🎶💃

As always, the show was full of energy, classic songs and fabulous costumes. Our residents, relatives and staff all joined in with the singing and dancing, creating a wonderful atmosphere and making it a morning to remember! ❤️

After some quick thinking and a change of location, we still managed to have a lovely BBQ yesterday! 🌭☀️

Many residents, relatives, friends and staff came along and helped create a fantastic atmosphere. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with good company, good food, music, a quiz, plenty of giggles and some friendly competition!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the afternoon such a great success. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and making some wonderful memories together. ❤️

Although the weather tried its best to put a dampener on things, we weren’t going to let a little rain stop us!

We’ve decided that if we want it to rain, we just need to arrange a BBQ! 😂🌧️🔥

🌿🏆 We’ve Won! 🏆🌿

Following judging that commenced on 12th August, we are incredibly proud to announce that we won the “Most Creative Display” category! 🎉

A huge thank you to all the relatives who kindly donated plants and ornaments, and to our wonderful residents who help care for and look after the plants.

We’d also like to give a very special thank you to Viraj, Matt, Kim, Gosia, Pauline (our volunteer), and Theresa for all the time, hard work and effort you have put into making our garden look so fabulous. 🌸🌺🌱

We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our wonderful residents, relatives, friends and staff who have helped bring our garden back to life.

Your time, hard work and enthusiasm have made such a difference. It is wonderful to see our garden looking beautiful again and becoming a lovely space for everyone to enjoy.

🍅🥒 A lovely surprise in the garden!

While tending to the garden, one of our residents, Bernard, discovered some ripe, ready-to-pick tomatoes and cucumbers.
Our garden continues to bring so much joy, giving residents the chance to spend time outdoors, nurture the plants, and celebrate each new harvest together. 🌱💚
