My hair was thinning… so I decided to measure what was actually happening. 👀

Hair loss isn’t always obvious at first. I’d started to notice that my own hair didn’t feel quite as thick as it used to, so rather than guessing, I put my scalp under the microscope — literally!

🔬 Our advanced scalp & hair analysis allows us to assess:
• Hair density
• Hair shaft thickness
• Scalp health
• Follicle and hair characteristics
• Changes over time

It then generates a detailed report, giving us a baseline that we can use to objectively monitor progress.

For my own hair, I’m currently trialling Juvelook injections into the scalp as part of my treatment journey — and even in a relatively short space of time, I’ve been really encouraged by the improvement I’m seeing in growth and thickness.

I can clock things in your face in about three seconds, and it’s rarely what you think. 👀

It’s not me being rude, it’s my job rewiring my brain. I’ll notice tiny asymmetries, how your smile pulls, how your cheeks sit when you talk, even how your brows move when you’re telling me you’re “fine”. Small details say everything.

Your face is basically a puzzle, and once you’ve spent years doing facial aesthetics, you can’t stop seeing patterns. I’m not judging. I’m just quietly going, “Ahh, that’s why that area bothers you.”

You come in worried about one line, and my brain is doing a full face scan like a security guard at Selfridges. 🕵️‍♀️

We’re not just looking at the bit you point to. We’re checking balance, proportions, and how everything works together when you speak and smile. Sometimes I’m mentally rotating your face like a 3D model. Totally normal. For me, anyway.

Because harmony is the whole point. A small tweak in one area can change how another looks, so a good consult is never “forehead only” or “just lips”. It’s always the whole story.

If I pause before a treatment, it’s not awkward. It’s professional. ☕

Not everything needs a rushed “yes” because you felt on the spot. Your face deserves a plan, not a panic. The best outcomes I see usually come from someone saying, “Not yet,” and meaning it.

A good practitioner will stop and think, ask more questions, and sometimes suggest a slower approach. Trends move fast. Your face has to live with decisions for a lot longer than a TikTok lasts.

If you ever feel rushed, it’s OK to pause too. That’s not indecision. That’s good judgement.

Trends come and go. Your face is the bit that has to show up every day. 💁‍♀️

There are things I wouldn’t do to my own face, purely because I’ve watched “viral” become “why did I do that” over time. What looks punchy this month can age oddly later.

I’m a big fan of less. The kind of work people can’t quite spot, they just say you look well, like you’ve had a good sleep and a nice holiday. That’s my favourite compliment.

A proper consult is where the real skill shows. It’s in the questions they ask, what they check, and what they don’t rush past. If you felt hurried, that feeling matters.

Overfilled isn’t a flex. Natural tends to wear better long term, and you can spot the difference walking down the street, no detective work required.

Your face isn’t a trend. It’s not meant to be updated every time an algorithm gets bored. The treatments nobody notices are often the ones that did the most, because they kept you looking like you.
