What a truly special day we’ve had at Clifton Manor! 💕 Today we were delighted to welcome the gorgeous Cupcake for a very special visit, and our residents absolutely loved meeting her. 🥰

From gentle strokes and cuddles to simply sitting and watching Cupcake wander around the home, there were smiles everywhere! ❤️

Animal visits can bring so many wonderful benefits to people living in care homes. 🐴✨ They can:

🌸 Reduce feelings of loneliness and anxiety
🌸 Encourage communication and conversation
🌸 Bring back happy memories of much-loved pets and animals
🌸 Promote gentle physical activity through touching, grooming and reaching
🌸 Provide sensory stimulation and comfort
🌸 Encourage social interaction between residents, staff and visitors
🌸 Create moments of joy, laughter and connection
🌸 Support emotional wellbeing and give residents something exciting to look forward to

For some of our residents, Cupcake wasn’t just a pony today — she was a memory, a conversation, a smile and a moment of pure happiness. 🥹❤️

🚗💦 A Huge Thank You! 💦🚗

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff team at Clifton Manor Residential Home for giving up their valuable time to take part in our Car Wash Fundraising Challenge. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication made the day a fantastic success! 👏

A big thank you also goes to our wonderful local community for coming along, supporting the event, and getting your cars washed. Your generosity and encouragement helped us raise an incredible £130 for charity! 🎉❤️

It was fantastic to see everyone coming together for such a great cause, and we truly appreciate every person who took part, donated, or supported us throughout the day.

Together, we can achieve amazing things. Thank you once again for helping make our fundraiser such a memorable success! 🌟
