Earth & Bloom bath salts and my Blush soap are a match made for a lovely self-care ritual. 💗

Both feature red clay and the beautiful floral-citrus blend of rose geranium and grapefruit, bringing a little harmony to your bathing routine.

A little something new for your bathing ritual 🌿

I've been busy behind the scenes creating my new Botanical Bath Salts, and I'm so happy to finally share them with you.

Three different blends, each with its own character, made with mineral salts, pure essential oils, clay and dried botanicals.

I’ve been busy getting batches ready for what will hopefully be a busy season ahead! There have been labels to create, new products to add to the cosmetic portal and lots of other bits happening behind the scenes.

I’m hoping to do a little product shoot this week so I can start adding the new products to the website. ✨

I did manage to squeeze in a much-needed hair appointment today though, and what a treat that was! 💆‍♀️✂️

Thank you again to the gorgeous Emma Unique Hair Specialist — I absolutely loved it and definitely needed that little bit of me-time. 🫶 xx

✨ A little something new is coming soon… ✨

I’ve been quietly working on two new soaps, and I think it’s finally time for a little reveal. 🤎

Made with dark chocolate and pure essential oils, these are a little different from my usual bars — rich, indulgent and a little bit special.

I’m not giving too much away just yet… 😉 But they’ll be ready in just under a couple of weeks!

I’m thinking of adding them to the website for pre-order very soon, so you can get yours reserved before they’re ready.

And… there’s something else new coming very soon too. 👀

Life has been busy lately, which has meant I’ve been spending more evenings in the studio lately.

And actually, there’s something quite calming about working there at this time of year. The days are getting shorter, the studio feels cosy and quiet, and once everything else has gone a little quiet too, I find I have space to slow down and think.

I often use these evenings to reflect on things — what’s been happening, what’s ahead, and sometimes just to enjoy being there without needing to rush on to the next thing.

There’s something quite lovely about having a little space to yourself.

I thought it was probably time I introduced myself again. 😊

I’m Nicole, the face (and hands!) behind ECOnsider.

I’m 45 (still!), a wife and a mum of two, originally from Germany. I moved to the UK about 14 years ago and now live in a lovely little village in West Lancashire, where I make all my products in my cosy studio.

I’m bilingual, half German and half British, and I’ve always loved creating things. Long before ECOnsider came along, I was working in the corporate world, but alongside my career I was exploring my interest in skincare and natural ingredients. I studied beauty therapy and went on to immerse myself in courses and learning around natural skincare and formulation.

I started ECOnsider around 6 years ago, initially from a desire to create natural products for myself and my family, and it has grown into a business that has become such a big part of my life.

I make everything myself in small batches, using carefully chosen natural ingredients, essential oils, clays and botanicals. There is something I find incredibly satisfying about taking a handful of ingredients and turning them into something beautiful and useful.

And there’s one person who deserves a little mention here too — my mum.

She was my biggest cheerleader and absolutely loved ECOnsider. Some of my favourite memories are of the little sessions we had together in my studio when she came to visit. She'd potter around, ask questions, admire what I was making and always made me feel incredibly proud of what I was building.

She sadly passed away suddenly a couple of years ago, and I still think about those moments often — especially when I'm in the studio creating or when I start doubting myself. 🤍

These days, ECOnsider is about creating little moments that help you slow down and reconnect with yourself — something I think we all need a little more of sometimes.
