Yesterday was Day3 of Eddie’s mystery head wound. He’s on antibiotics as a precaution due to not knowing how he sustained it. It’s been flushed daily with salt water followed by some Calendula Tincture. He’s also on some Arnica and Calendula homeopathy. I’ve applied Photizo UK - LED Light Therapy Devices each night too. Last night his noticeable lump exploded 🤢🤮

While you might be thinking that’s a bad thing, actually it’s really good! For it to come through so quickly is a sign his body is healing and dealing with it well. It was not foul smelling just a bit yucky.

I applied a hot poultice to get it all out and again flushed with salt water and applied Calendula tincture. It was oozing in the night and clearly annoying him (and me with his constant flubbery shaking 🤣) so I managed to get him bandaged up. No I’m not gonna win any bandaging awards but do you know how tricky dressing a head is?! 🤣 anyway he’s doing alright and we’ll continue with his red light regime and meds for a while longer

It’s been a very traumatic afternoon for poor Eddie today. Somehow he managed to gouge his head resulting in some very large lacerations on his head. If that wasn’t enough, en route to the vet, someone shot in front of the car at a junction, making me slam on my brakes. Unfortunately I hadn’t realised one of the back seats wasn’t clipped back securely, so as he fell backwards into it, he managed to trap his leg between the boot floor and the bottom of the seat. Honestly the blood curdling scream he let out made me think he’d broken his leg!

Thankfully the leg is fine, just a little grazed and bruised and his head is ok too (silver lining of having a wrinkly head) but boy was he super stressed out when we got back home.

Def time to call on the perks of a therapist owner! So got him settled in his favourite spot, turned down the lights and popped the fan on low.

Just 10mins of a little Reiki and Massage and all is well. He’s now fast asleep, snoring away 🥰

Ever wanted to try loc extensions? You’ve probably seen my ever changing array of hair colours and styles by now, but did you know that I’m also qualified in Hair Extension applications?

I can do Micro, Nano, i-Tips & bonded applications but I really like doing Locs. They’re great for growing out short hair styles or for giving your hair a break from over styling/colouring.

I use a blanket stitch braid to secure them, so no slippage at all, and you only need 3inches of hair growth. Installs last 6-8weeks due to growth.

Installs start from £50 and you can supply your own hair or i can source some for you. I do have a few bits in stock currently: Dark Green & Brown and Pink Ombré Locs, Burgundy & Brown Boho braids.
