Let’s settle this once and for all…

The first question I get before almost every lip filler appointment isn’t:

“How long does it last?”

or

“How much do I need?”

It’s…

“Does it hurt?” 😅

The honest answer?

Most people describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful.

I use a strong topical numbing cream before we start, and many lip filler products also contain a local anaesthetic to help make the treatment more comfortable.

I’ve had a few clients say this to me recently, and I completely understand why.

Trends change, social media influences opinions, and sometimes people simply want to explore different options.

The truth is, there isn’t one treatment that’s right for everyone.

For some people, anti-wrinkle treatment is still the best choice.

For others, concerns like skin quality, hydration, collagen loss or volume changes may mean another treatment, or a combination of treatments is more appropriate.

That’s why I never believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

Can every tattoo be removed?”

It’s one of the most common questions I get asked, and the honest answer is…

Not always.

The success of laser tattoo removal depends on several factors, including:

✨ The colours used in the tattoo
✨ How old the tattoo is
✨ How much ink was used
✨ How deeply the ink sits in the skin
✨ Your body’s natural ability to clear the fragmented ink

Some tattoos can be removed extremely well, while others may lighten significantly but not disappear completely.

That’s why I always carry out a consultation before treatment. It’s your opportunity to ask questions, and it’s my opportunity to assess your tattoo and give you realistic expectations about what can be achieved.

My aim is always to give honest advice, so you can make an informed decision before starting treatment.
