My Nan really did say this, and it's actually really quite a liberating quote.

I'm not the prettiest, or the funniest, or the smartest, and NO: nobody is stopping that horse for me and I'm ok with that 😅 Because it takes away any performative pressure!

Simply removing that pressure and realising that nobody gives a s**t what I look like (mostly we are all just self-consciously thinking about ourselves right?) is absolutely freeing.

Full disclosure: my Nan didn't say this directly to me. But she did say it to a close relative who I won't name 🤣
