🌿 THE SANCTUARY — Not Every Battle Has to Be Won

There are times when the ground beneath us seems to shift.

When the waters around us roar.
When life becomes noisy.
When we find ourselves gripping the sword a little tighter, believing we have to fight, fix, control or somehow hold everything together.

But what if we don't?

When I created this Soul Art piece, The Sanctuary, I saw someone finally laying down their sword.

Not defeated.

Not broken.

Simply realising…

not every battle has to be won.

Some things are not asking us to fight harder.

They are asking us to become still.

To loosen our grip.
To soften the shoulders.
To breathe.
To remember that even when everything around us feels unsettled, there is somewhere within us that remains quiet.

A sanctuary.

And I've realised that this same message quietly weaves through so much of the work I now offer.

✨ Through my Soul Art, an image emerges from the wax and becomes a message — sometimes revealing something we need to see, remember or release.

🌿 Through Qigong, we stop forcing the body and begin listening to it. We breathe, soften and allow Qi to move rather than believing everything must be achieved through effort.

✨ Through Reiki, we become still enough to receive — creating space for rest, balance and reconnection.

Different paths.

The same invitation.

Put down the sword.

You don't have to wrestle with every wave.

You don't have to have everything figured out.

Sometimes strength is movement.

Sometimes strength is action.

And sometimes the greatest strength is knowing when to become still.

To breathe.

To allow.

And to return to the sanctuary within. 🌿

✨ Reiki bookings are opening once again… ✨

After taking some time away, I’m so happy to say that I’m opening my diary once again for 1-to-1 Reiki sessions from October. 🤍

There’s something very special about returning to this work.

Reiki has always been about more than simply lying down and relaxing. It’s an opportunity to become still… to step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with yourself and allow your energy to gently settle.

A little sacred pause.

A space to rest, receive and restore. ✨

Each session is held gently and intuitively, allowing you time to simply be — no expectations, no rushing, nowhere else you need to be.

🤍 Come home to yourself

My diary is now open for appointments from 1st October onwards.

Sometimes I see landscapes.

And sometimes the message isn't obvious until I sit quietly with the finished piece.

You will receive a photograph of your unique Soul Art together with my personal intuitive interpretation of what I see within it.

✨ A little sneak peek… ✨

Something new has been quietly taking shape on my worktable…

The Sacred Year 2027. 🖤

Not simply a diary, but a little place to return to yourself throughout the year.

Each month begins with space to pause and reflect…
How do I want to feel?
What do I want to make time for?
What am I ready to let go of?

There are monthly calendars, little seasonal whispers, spaces for thoughts and doodles, and of course all the practical weekly pages for appointments, plans and everyday life.

Because perhaps a diary doesn't only have to remind us where we need to be…

Perhaps it can also remind us how we want to live. ✨

And the really special part?

Each one will be printed, folded, sewn and bound by hand, with its own beautiful cover — so no two will feel quite the same.

I’m hoping to have a very small collection ready for an upcoming craft fayre.

There may only be seven in this first little batch… 🖤

✨ A4 Grimoire… officially started! ✨

I have absolutely no idea how this one is going to turn out… 😂🖤

I’ve started experimenting with embossed foil for the cover, and this little witch is slowly appearing from the silver. There’s something rather magical about watching an image emerge one tiny line at a time.

This is very much an experiment at the moment — which is half the fun!

Now I’m wondering what else an A4 Grimoire needs… 🌙✨
