D-DAY – 6 JUNE 1944
Today we pause to remember.
We remember the courage of those who answered the call of duty, knowing the cost could be their lives.
We remember the young men who stepped forward into the unknown, carrying hopes, fears, and an unwavering determination to defend freedom.
We remember the families who waited at home, not knowing if their loved ones would ever return.
D-Day was more than a military operation. It was a moment of extraordinary bravery, sacrifice, and resilience that helped shape the world we live in today.
As the years pass and fewer veterans remain to tell their stories, it becomes even more important that we keep their memory alive.
Today, let us take a moment of gratitude for all those who served, all those who sacrificed, and all those who never came home.
We will remember them.
