Aloha! What a wonderful afternoon at Respite 🌺

Our Respite service hosted a Hawaiian-themed afternoon tea garden party to celebrate the opening of our new Vicarage Road respite service and 75 years of New Directions supporting people with learning disabilities and their families.

The afternoon was filled with delicious food, music, laughter, and plenty of sunshine, with people we support, families, and staff coming together to celebrate these two very special milestones.

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day?

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our residential services, supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives and achieve their goals.

You will support individuals with:
🎯 Maintaining daily living skills (personal care, choices, home management)
🌳 Getting out into the community
🎨 Social and leisure activities
📅 Attending appointments
❤️ Maintaining relationships with friends and family

What we offer:
💷 £13.01 – £13.52 per hour
😴 £77.50 per sleep-in session
⏰ Up to 35.5 hours per week
➕ Overtime regularly available
📚 Full training and ongoing development
💙 A supportive team and opportunities to progress

Josh, Alicia, Hollie and Tracey had an exciting day out at Silverstone, taking in the Formula 1 action and soaking up the incredible atmosphere.

Celebrating Judith's achievements at CCN 🌟

Judith is continuing to thrive at CCN, enjoying the encouragement and support she receives to learn and develop at her own pace.

She has been expanding her knowledge of history, exploring the works of different novelists, and building her confidence through computer-based activities. Judith has also made fantastic progress in her watercolour painting, developing her creativity and growing in confidence with every session.

We are so proud of everything Judith has achieved and are delighted to see her enjoying her time at CCN while continuing to learn new skills and pursue her interests. Keep up the fantastic work, Judith 💙

The Hill Street group from CCN enjoyed a visit to The Countryside Kitchen at Orchard Farm in Yelvertoft, a working farm where visitors can learn all about the journey from field to food 🚜

James was especially excited to meet the cows, his favourite animals! The group also discovered how wheat is grown and were shown by the owner how it is turned into bread, giving everyone a real insight into where our food comes from.

It was a fun, hands-on day full of learning, new experiences, and great memories 💙

A lovely day out for Mo and Iga 🌸

Mo and Iga spent a few hours in Leamington, enjoying a relaxing stroll around the beautiful Jephson Gardens. It was the perfect opportunity to get some fresh air, take in the scenery, and enjoy each other's company.

Days like these are all about getting out into the community, staying active, and making the most of time together 💙
