Sometimes, the things that might seem small to others are actually huge moments of connection, belonging and independence.

Jackie has been joining the ‘Knit and Natter’ group at Burston Garden Centre, doing something she absolutely loves while also getting out into the community, meeting new people and making new friends. Jackie particularly loves chatting with her friend Sonia!

For us, this is so much more than joining a knitting group. It’s about being included, being seen, having a voice, building friendships and feeling like you belong.

Simon and Dilan together with their support team Andy and Dianne decided that cooking was on the agenda!
They decided to make a delicious lemon sponge cake. But knowing that their neighbour Tom did not like lemons, they also made him a fairy cake like the good friends they are.
