We are personal training experts based in Urmston, Manchester. Our goal is to create a training environment from which you are able to thrive in. JW Fitness was born out of the need for quality Personal training to help members change their lives as well as help them achieve things they never thought possible. What do you get when you put 2 work experience girls (who have both done gymnastics), a lady actively learning handstands (and could do them +other gymnastics when younger) and an idiot with no shoulder mobility in a room together???

They have a round off competition, obviously.

But knowing John, the question is…

Should he aim for 100 miles instead? 👀

To put that into perspective, 100 miles is roughly like running from:

📍 Urmston
➡️ Altrincham
➡️ Crewe
➡️ Stoke-on-Trent
➡️ Stafford
➡️ Birmingham
➡️ Coventry

All in 24 hours 😅

John originally set himself a target of 100km in 24 hours at Endure 24 🏃‍♂️

But knowing John…

Once he gets close to a target, he starts looking for another one 😅

So the question is…

Should he stick to 100km?

Or should he see how far he can really go and aim for 100 miles? 👀

That’s over 160km, nearly 20 laps of the course, and a very long conversation with his legs.

The goal was never to build the biggest gym.

It was to create a place where people felt comfortable enough to start, supported enough to keep going, and confident enough to achieve things they never thought possible.

Over the years, John has helped hundreds of people become stronger, fitter and healthier, but the thing he’s most proud of is seeing people grow in confidence.

Whether it’s lifting a barbell for the first time, returning to exercise after years away, or simply walking through the doors feeling nervous and leaving feeling capable.
