🚕✨ Back to school = back to my Taxi Mum duties! 😂

Tomorrow is my last working Saturday for the foreseeable future! With the school routine starting again, my Taxi Mum job is officially back in full swing 🚕😅 — school runs, activities, clubs and all the other childcare adventures that come with it!

So, I’m not sure when I’ll next be able to offer Saturday appointments.

☀️ Sunburn? Don't forget about your skin! ☀️

With the beautiful weather we've been having, it's lovely to spend more time outdoors. But please remember that sunburn is more than just red skin – it is damage to your skin and can increase the risk of skin problems in the future.

As an Aromatherapist, one of my favourite natural remedies for soothing mild sunburn is lavender essential oil. When properly diluted in a suitable carrier oil or added to a cooling compress, it may help calm and comfort the skin. Always carry out a patch test first and avoid applying neat essential oils directly to sunburned skin.

For sunburn, it's also important to:
🌿 Keep the skin cool with cool (not ice-cold) compresses or showers.
💧 Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
🧴 Apply a gentle moisturiser or after-sun product to help soothe the skin.
☂️ Stay out of the sun until your skin has recovered.

If the sunburn is severe, covers a large area, or is accompanied by blistering, fever or feeling unwell, seek medical advice.

Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine! ☀️

My very first children's massage session! 💙

Today I had the pleasure of working with my youngest client so far – a wonderful 3-year-old boy. He was full of energy, curious, happy and an absolute joy to work with.

It was such a rewarding experience, and I would be delighted to welcome more little ones to my treatment room.

I offer children's massage as well as paediatric physiotherapy, with every session tailored to your child's individual needs in a calm, friendly and supportive environment.

✨ I'm so excited to finally share this news!

After several months of waiting for my official registration (and a few unexpected hurdles along the way!), I can finally say that I am now an HCPC Registered Chartered Physiotherapist. 💙

This has been a long journey, and I won't pretend it hasn't been stressful at times. But I'm incredibly proud to have reached this milestone, and I'm so grateful for everyone's support along the way.

Many of you already know me as a Sports Therapist, and becoming a Physiotherapist is the next step in my professional journey. It allows me to offer an even broader range of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to help my patients.

Over the coming week, I'll be updating my website and sharing more information about my physiotherapy services, so keep an eye out for updates!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I can't wait to begin this next chapter and continue helping people move better, recover from injury and get back to doing what they love. 💙
