Based off my reel yesterday I thought I’d divulge a little bit more into who could do a hyrox?

There was a time I genuinely thought people who ran races were just built differently.

Meanwhile I was 22 stone, unfit, uncomfortable in my own skin and completely lacking confidence.

Now?

I’ve raced across the world in over 15 races but most importantly..

Built a team that’s completed over 200 races!

And helped everyday people achieve things they once thought were impossible.

Not because I’m special.

Not because I’m naturally gifted.

But because I stopped waiting for the “perfect time” and just started.

That’s why I’ll always believe fitness is for EVERYONE.

You do not need to be elite to become an athlete.

You don’t need a perfect starting point.

You just need to take that first step and keep showing up.

The best part of this journey has never been medals or finish times…

It’s watching people transform their confidence, mindset and lives through training.

If you’re sat there thinking “I could never do that”…

Trust me, I used to think the exact same thing.

The best time to start was yesterday, the second best time.. right now!

An amazing weekend watching do what she does best then a few days either side to switch off and relax..

I say relax, it’s New York.. nothing is ever relaxed 🤣

Batteries are recharged,

And I’m ready to go again,

What an unbelievable place.

Grateful to be able to explore the world with you 💜

Huge shoutout to & for absolutely smashing Berlin and coming away with a massive 5 minute PB together 👏

What makes this even better is knowing how much work the girls have done behind the scenes for this result.

Training for their own achievements as well as a combination of their team goals has been the reason why they’ve managed to smash this weekend!

Not to mention a busy life for the girls where they are smashing it personally as well, it’s been incredible to see them both come on so much not only as athletes but as people too.

Hyrox isn’t just about race day, it’s about consistency over time and both of these girls fully bought into the process from day one.

To take 5 minutes off is the performance we were after following Manchester and this is only the beginning..

Proud coach this weekend seeing all the hard work pay off in Berlin whilst I was away

Now time to recover… before we go again 👀

I came away thinking I’d still be smashing runs, staying on plan and keeping everything ticking over…

Reality was very different 😂

And honestly?

I think I needed it.

Sometimes you need to stop obsessing over splits, sessions and progress for a minute and just enjoy where you are.

No guilt.

No pressure.

This trip became more about switching off, exploring, eating good food and actually being present instead of constantly chasing the next thing.

A few missed runs won’t ruin your progress.

Burnout and never switching off probably will.

Now it’s time to get back (on Wednesday), reset and ready to work again 👊

The people who get the times they want are usually the ones who planned ahead early, stayed consistent and gave themselves enough runway to improve.

Instead of dreaming about:

Going sub 90
Getting your first podium
Completing your first Hyrox
Improving your running
Feeling confident on race day

…you could spend the next few months actually BUILDING towards it.

That’s the difference between hoping for a result and preparing for one.

Whether you’re completely new to Hyrox or chasing a PB,

Having a proper structure and enough time to train makes all the difference physically and mentally.

Birmingham is going to be a huge one and I already know there’s going to be an unreal team atmosphere heading into this block
