A huge thank you to the family who recently donated a basketball game to the group. 🏀

Our members have had a fantastic time playing with it and it’s safe to say things have become very competitive! There has been lots of laughter, encouragement and teamwork, with members even asking to create a leaderboard to keep track of the high scores. 😊

A little bit of friendly competition is good for us all and it’s been wonderful seeing everyone cheering each other on and having fun together. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.

Yesterday we had a fantastic time visiting the West Midlands Police Museum in Birmingham for their Fashion Police exhibition. We loved exploring the old cells and learning how they have changed over time. Our members enjoyed having their fingerprints taken and trying on different police uniforms too. 🚓👮

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure everyone had a fun-filled and interactive experience throughout the day. Another brilliant trip spent learning, exploring and making memories together. 😊

We are always so grateful for the kindness and generosity of our families. Recently we’ve been lucky enough to receive some lovely donations which our members have really enjoyed sharing together.

We added delicious samosas and spring rolls from Jolly Catering to one of our picnics, enjoyed tasty pakoras after swimming and then cooled down with some lovely ice creams in this beautiful weather. 🍦☀️

It’s wonderful seeing everyone come together, try different foods and enjoy special treats with friends. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us with donations — your kindness really does make such a difference. 💛

Keep your eyes peeled for a fantastic game we’ve had donated and some exciting new additions to our sensory garden too 😊

Yesterday we had a fantastic day enjoying a BBQ together! ☀️🍔🌭

Unfortunately it was a little too warm for us to eat outside, but that didn't stop us enjoying a delicious spread that everyone helped to prepare. We tucked into hotdogs, burgers and a fantastic range of fresh salads.

To finish off the day and help keep cool, we all enjoyed a tasty ice cream 🍦😋

A lovely day spent together with great food, smiles and lots of fun!

Last week we enjoyed making the most of the sunshine with a trip to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Wolesley Nature Reserve ☀️🌿

We love getting outdoors, exploring nature and discovering new places together with friends. One of our favourite activities was throwing sticks into the water and watching the different patterns and ripples they created 🌊🍃

Of course, no sunny day out would be complete without an ice cream to cool down 🍦😋

Wishing all of our followers a fun and relaxing bank holiday weekend! ☀️

Here’s a few pictures from our visit to Ironbridge last week. We had a fantastic day exploring somewhere different with friends, enjoying a lovely walk along the river and spotting lots of different birds along the way. 🦆🌿

For lunch we treated ourselves to fish and chips from the local chip shop — delicious! 🍟🐟

A brilliant day full of fresh air, friendship and making happy memories together. 😊

What a scorcher it’s been today! ☀️ With even more hot weather planned this week, we headed out shopping to buy a brand new parasol for our sensory garden so everyone can safely enjoy the sunshine and stay cool.

We worked together to choose the colour, push the trolley, pay at the checkout and then help build it back at church. Teamwork all round! 🌿⛱️

Now we’re all set and can’t wait to be back together on Tuesday for a BBQ and to make the most of our lovely garden space together. 🍔🌸

Having a good breakfast is a fantastic start to the day 🍓🥐🍊

Last week we were lucky enough to enjoy breakfast together before heading out on our walk. We warmed pastries in the oven and then chose our favourite flavour jam to enjoy with them, all served with a selection of breakfast juices.

A lovely way to start the morning together, sharing good food, conversation and preparing for a great day ahead 😊

Here at Next Step we love celebrating birthdays and what better way to celebrate than with friends and cake! 🎂🥳

We’ve recently enjoyed celebrating some very special birthdays together, sharing lots of smiles, laughter and of course plenty of birthday treats. It’s always lovely to make our members feel extra special on their big day and create happy memories together. 💙

Yesterday was World Bee Day and to celebrate we got our craft on and decorated bee boxes for our sensory garden 🐝🌼

We’ve already been busy making and planting seed bombs to welcome bees and butterflies into our lovely garden, and we also decorated bird and bug boxes to encourage wildlife of all kinds to visit. 🦋🐞🐦

With the warm weather on the way, we can’t wait to spend more time enjoying our sensory garden together. Watch this space for more pictures from our adventures! ☀️🌿
