Secondly (forgot to get a picture!) with Hannah Harrison and the hub team celebrating a fantastic year, all the hard work from the hub team, volunteers and community members making a difference to their community Oasis UK
Finally, the last session of the 12 week Help to Grow: Management Course with Steve Ennis at University of Worcester ! It's been an honour to be a part of this cohort, learning from so many great people, different business and absorbing as much information as possible as a new entrepreneur!
It's been a huge day of reflection and forward thinking!
The key theme from today:
People: At the centre of what we do
People: What we can learn from and aspire to grow, work and collaborate with
People: The power of positivity, networks and expanding your horizons
In the last 12 months:
- We've had over 200 physiotherapy appointments and 100 new patients in our free to access community physiotherapy clinic
- We've had 48 physiotherapy and dietitian students on placement, supporting their learning and enhancing community provisions from University of Worcester , University of Wolverhampton and Birmingham Newman University
- Partnered with great organisations like Kidderminster Food Bank, Dudley Stroke Association, Oasis Community Hub, Blakenhale, Darkhouse Baptist Church, St Andrews Church, The Straits, Sanctuary Supported Living Noble House and Hazel Court, Cavendish Park, Evesham, Wednesfield Aces Cycle Speedway to provide accessible healthcare services, health promotion and prevention directly to people who need it, within the hearts of their community!
Neighbourhood health is nothing without people at it's core, and at Health Valued that is our key aim - to empower the community!
So many exciting things to come up over the next 12 months!
