SSW was delighted to be chosen as a partner charity by The Body Shop and had a fantastic day supporting their Family & Friends Sale event.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and we were incredibly well looked after throughout the day. With hundreds of shoppers attending and such a brilliant atmosphere, it was a wonderful event to be part of.

A huge to Samantha Pewsey of People Finding Consultancy for taking on the Gatwick Half Marathon and raising an amazing £345 for Sight Support Worthing!

Sam's support means so much to us and will help us continue supporting people with sight loss across Worthing and the surrounding areas.

Thank you to everyone who visited our art exhibition at Colonnade House last week. There were scores of visitors, huge amounts of positive remarks, and lots of sales!

The artists were celebrated at a reception on Thursday evening, when not even the torrential rain could put visitors off! This was a wonderful inaugural art exhibition and a high benchmark for future events.

On Friday, SSW took Showdown to Sussex CCC for Sussex Cricket Foundation's DIScoverABILITY Day, where more than 750 SEN children had the opportunity to try a range of accessible sports.

It was a fantastic day of inclusion, fun and raising awareness of Showdown, giving even more young people the chance to experience this exciting and accessible sport.

A huge thank you to The Primary Club for funding Sussex Spitfires Showdown Club and helping SSW bring the fun of Showdown to even more people.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported the Plant and Bake Sale on Friday, raising over £850 for SSW.

Entertainment was provided by the wonderful Seashore Singers; big thanks to them for giving their time and voices!

We would also like to thank Gardner and Scardifield, Asda, Lansdowne Plants, Ferring Nurseries, Baked Worthing, Merriman Grange Care Home, Co-op plaza parade, and SSW members and volunteers for all of the amazing donations of plants and cakes. We couldn't have done it without you!
