Yesterday, the Gibraltar Health Authority proudly supported and observed World Prostate Cancer Day.

The GHA Mobile Health Unit was stationed at the Piazza alongside Prostate Cancer Gibraltar, promoting men's health and providing health checks and clinically-indicated PSA testing for members of the public.

To continue supporting community wellbeing, the Mobile Health Unit will be located outside No. 6 Convent Place on 16, 17 and 18 June, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, offering wellbeing health checks.

Early detection can save lives; take advantage of this opportunity and prioritise your health.

The GHA is pleased to support a new monthly support space in collaboration with the Gibraltar Alzheimerโ€™s and Dementia Society, the Care Agency, Citizens Advice Bureau, & Community Care Domiciliary Services.

Held on the first Tuesday of every month (starting in June), these sessions offer a safe, welcoming environment for individuals living with dementia, as well as their families and carers, to ask questions, share concerns and access guidance.

A range of professionals, including social workers, counsellors and support teams will be available to provide information and support on a range of topics.

This May, as we recognise Mental Health Awareness Month, let us remember that Mental Health is just as important as physical health. ๐Ÿ’š

Simple daily actions like taking a walk, practising mindfulness, reading a good book, or spending time with loved ones can make a big difference to our well-being.

Let us continue to support one another, spread kindness, and prioritise self-care because every small step matters.

Together, we can create a healthier and happier community.
