We offer clinical Pilates classes and private Pilates lessons in our clinic in Bray Co Wicklow. We also offer Physiotherapy treatments and remedial/sports massage. Our aim is to prevent pain and discomfort by improving posture and strengthening weak areas in a persons body. Toning up is the added benefit when weak muscles are strengthened. We are a unique clinic with a private setting providing highly skilled teachers and therapists.

People often come to Repower thinking they’re “just joining a Pilates class.”

But over time, something else begins to happen.

People start recognising familiar faces.

One of the biggest shifts I’ve seen, both personally and professionally, is understanding that the body is always adapting.

Adapting to stress. To pressure. To rushing.

To the way we breathe, move, think, and cope.

So many people believe pain means their body is failing them.

But more often than not, what I see is a body that has simply been carrying too much for too long without the right support.

That’s why our approach at Repower is so different.

We don’t just focus on “exercise.”

We focus on helping the body feel safe enough to move properly again.

Through breath. Through alignment. Through controlled movement. Through building strength without creating more strain.

And when that happens, something incredible shifts.

People don’t just feel fitter.

This is something I feel incredibly passionate about.

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful Pilates can be when it’s taught properly, not just as exercise, but as a way to help people move better, reduce pain, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with their bodies.

That’s why I chose to train with APPI.

And now, bringing this certification into Repower feels like such a full-circle moment.

We’re not just teaching people how to instruct classes.

We’re teaching them how to truly understand movement, support clients safely, and create meaningful change through what they do.

✨ Shoulder Pain & Menopause — What Every Woman Needs to Know ✨

For many women, shoulder pain and stiffness can begin during perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause — often without a clear injury or explanation 🤍

What many women don’t realise is that hormonal changes, particularly the drop in estrogen, can directly affect the health of our joints, tendons, muscles, and connective tissue.

🧬 Estrogen plays a huge role in:
• Collagen production
• Joint lubrication
• Tissue elasticity
• Muscle recovery
• Tendon health

As estrogen declines, the shoulder joint can begin to feel “drier,” tighter, weaker, and less supported. This is one reason conditions like frozen shoulder are far more common in women between 40–60 years old.

✨ But mobility alone is NOT the answer.

Stretching without strength can actually leave the shoulder more vulnerable to strain or injury ⚠️

A mobile shoulder without muscular support lacks stability and control. This is often when women overstretch, compensate, or move beyond what the body can safely support — leading to pain and inflammation.

💪 Strength is what protects the joint.

Strong shoulders allow you to move through full ranges of motion with confidence, stability, and resilience.

And during midlife, strength training becomes even more important for:

There is something incredibly special about being part of , and especially and the beautiful community within.

To stand alongside women who truly understand the mind and heart of a businesswoman is rare. Women who are not only building businesses, but also juggling relationships, children, family, pets, emergencies, emotions, responsibilities… and everything in between.

These women are more than businesswomen. They are supporters, cheerleaders, listeners, leaders, and friends. And for that, I am deeply grateful.

I am incredibly honoured to be a finalist in the Established Businesswoman category with alongside the most amazing women in business a long time.

I began my journey as a sole trader back in 2003, and all these years later, to now be leading a limited company feels both surreal and deeply rewarding.

Business has taught me resilience, growth, courage, patience, and belief. And honestly… life in business just keeps getting better and better. ✨

Grateful for the journey. Grateful for the women beside me. And excited for what’s still to come. 🤍

When Anne first joined Repower 11 years ago, she didn’t have an injury or pain.

Her challenge was something many of us face:

👉 “I was in a desk job all day and just wasn’t moving enough.”

At first, she worried she wasn’t “sporty enough.”

But she quickly realised Pilates wasn’t about being sporty…

It was about functional movement, learning how her body works, and finding joy in moving again.
