Weekly roundup with just a few of the hardworking clients we have had in this week. Great to see people progressing and taking the necessary steps to understand their body more.

There is a level of detail that we are trying to account for that seems to be missing in the rest of the industry. So much so that others can think we are fear mongering people regarding how they move.

We just call it setting the bar a little bit higher. People come to us because they want to understand the nuts and bolts. They are actively seeking answers and understanding.

Lucky for us these clients are the best to deal with and make our job a real privilege and very enjoyable. If you want to get on the graduate program and learn how these things work so you can take the power back into your own hands, get in touch and get started.

Good morning! Short video today with a weekly roundup of online clients โœŠ๏ธ

The amazing thing about the method is that it is not just a program of exercises, it is truly an education.

For anyone willing to put in the work, huge benefits wait around the corner. Something we get asked all the time is if Functional Patterns is a good fit if you cannot attend us in person.

While in person is of course our preferred way of training people, online works just as well in most cases. With huge online library of content like the there has never been a better time to start your education.

Once we establish a common language with a client, guiding them through the process of training in a way that brings more balance to their body becomes just as easy as having them in front of us.

If you arw struggling and want some guidance, don't let distance ve the thing that stops you getting in touch!

Check out a recent client testimonial from . Current HF practitioner soon to be Human Biomechanics Specialist, Paul has been training with me online over the last couple of years.

In this clip he excellently articulates some the benefits he has found using . A huge advocate for the system and all around top traininer, it has been a huge pleasure connecting with him.

We have had a very limited amount of sessions, one every couple of months, but even with limited contact he has made some great progress. This is more a testament to him and his ability to self improve than anything I could have ever thought him.

Credit to for a creating a system that gives people the tools to truly begin to understand their body and make positive changes.

Paul is a great example of what an FP practitioner should be and I'm excited to see him progress even more when he enters the HBS curriculum.

Anyone in the Connecticut area be sure to look this man up.

People generally think about exercises being "good" or "bad", functional or not. what we understand a functional exercise to be is one that helps to correct imbalances on the body.

This means that alot of movements have the POTENTIAL to be functional, but only if you understand how your body is organised when you do them.

Most people have no idea how their body likes to behave because they don't seek out that information. A simple test like comparing a lunge set up on both sides gives a lot of information regarding that behaviour.

People don't love to accept this nuance because it means they cannot mindlessly do rep after rep of an exercise and tell themselves that the outcome is only positive.

If you want to understand the nuts and bolts you need to get properly assessed, and learn to interpret your body and what it does during movement.

Do this well, and correct imbalances over time. Do it poorly, and create more or compound existing ones.

If you feel like something is off but are not sure what, reach out and let us help you get started. Check the links in our bio.
