A Great Day Out on Lough Ramor! 🚤 🙌
A group from our Canon Row service enjoyed a fantastic trip out on Lough Ramor in Virginia. A massive thank you to Terry and Tony from Ramor Watersports Club for facilitating the boat trip and giving everyone such a brilliant experience. The guys had a great day out, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and even getting the opportunity to take the wheel and steer the boat themselves! 🚤😄

Our Ashbourne service hosted their second colour run at the Ashbourne Community Centre to raise funds for the wonderful cause, the Little Blue Heroes.
The morning was filled with music, lovely cakes and buns, and, of course, running and walking, with plenty of colour along the way! We are delighted to announce that we raised €200 for the Little Blue Heroes. We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, to everyone who baked delicious treats, and to everyone who donated. We would also like to thank Tom from the Ashbourne Community Centre for allowing us to use their facilities. It was such a fun-filled morning, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. In Ashbourne this week we said goodbye to the wonderful Pat as he begins an exciting new chapter in Navan. We celebrated with a party in the service to wish him the very best of luck. Everyone shared some heartfelt words, reminisced on lovely memories and wished Pat well in his new ventures. Best of luck Pat from everyone in Ashbourne, we will miss you! 🎉💐🍀💙

A great evening at Prosper Meath 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Careers Open Evening in Navan last night.

It was great to chat to so many people interested in finding out more about Prosper Meath, the work we do and our current opportunities.

A special thank you to our staff who stayed on to help with the evening, chat to attendees and share their own experiences of working in Prosper.

Yesterday, some of the Kennedy Road group enjoyed a fantastic day out at the Virginia Show in Cavan. There was plenty of fun and laughter as the group explored the amusements, admired all the animals and enjoyed a bite to eat. Some of the group even had the special opportunity to hold some birds of prey, which was a real highlight of the day.
The main excitement, however, was seeing the group’s entries in the baking and flower-arranging competitions. Luke was delighted to be awarded 1st place for his plain buns, while Noeleen proudly took 2nd place for her entry. Adam also received a well-deserved Merit for his beautiful wildflower arrangement.
It was a fun-filled day enjoyed by everyone, with plenty of smiles, achievements and wonderful memories made along the way! 💐🦅🍔🎢🎡

Robert from our Farrell Street day service enjoyed meeting his brother Edward for a lovely coffee and a much-needed catch-up in Drogheda. They don’t get to see each other nearly as often as they’d like, so it was extra special to spend some time together, share a few laughs and enjoy each other’s company. Here’s to making more time for moments like these! ☕

Over in our Trim service, the group has been working on developing their independent living skills. Currently, they are working on dressing their beds, loading and emptying the dishwasher, and cooking simple lunches. These skills help the guys become more independent and build self-confidence and self-esteem through achieving skills and goals. Well done to everyone. 🏠🛌🏿👨‍🍳

Over in our Beechmount service, the guys have been making the most of the lovely weather with some gardening in the centre. 🌿 Everyone has been getting involved with planting, watering, and looking after our outdoor space. A great way to enjoy some fresh air, keep active, and watch all the hard work come to life! We're looking forward to seeing how our garden grows over the coming weeks. 🌱☀️🌸🪴

Before the school holidays, the LCA students from Loreto Navan held a fundraiser bake sale in memory of Ciaran Hanley, a Watergate Street Service user who sadly passed away in April 2025. The bake sale raised money to purchase a memorial bench, which can be used by Ciaran's friends, always keeping his memory with them. We were joined by Ciaran's mother and grandad to unveil the bench, along with the girls from Loreto. A special thank you to the Loreto students who worked so hard, putting together a wonderful bake sale and for their time spent with us in Watergate Street throughout the year. Loreto Secondary School, St. Michael's, Navan 🕊🙏✨
