📍 Navan Hi, My Name Is Dan.

Initially I studied in college to become a PE teacher. Growing up I had always been into physical activity and always in physical shape. However, I came to a point in my life where I returned home from America and became overweight. My confidence was shot, I became self-conscious about my body and myself, I felt sluggish, unworthy, not enough, and like I wasn’t going anywhere or doing anything with my life. Soon after this, I lost my uncle to suicide which was an extremely low point in both my life and everyone around me. I portrayed a different image on the external, but I knew something had to change…

I Then Started To Look Up And Study The Mind. I Realized How We Live, What Happens To Us, How We Feel, How We Look Is Completely Within Our Control. I decided to use these events as a way of shaping myself physically and mentally, I lost all the weight and got into the best shape of my life by working on my mental and emotional fitness as much as I did on my physical fitness. It changed my life around and that’s when I decided my true destiny was to do the same for others. I realized that the body, mind and spirit are all connected and is one system. And with working on our physical, mental and emotional fitness we reach and feel a place where we can live life to the fullest. It is my fundamental belief that when we begin to change ourselves internally followed by externally, we open up a new world to ourselves, we live with true health, true fitness, true happiness, true confidence and much more.

On Saturday 31st October, something very special is happening at DGC Studios in Navan.

We’re taking on a challenge with one goal:
62,000 HEART POINTS FOR ANNE-MARIE ❤️

Anne-Marie is 36 and spent much of her working life in social care, supporting people when they needed it most.

Over the last three years, her own life has changed dramatically after becoming seriously unwell and eventually being diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease.
Her husband Darragh, family and friends have been fundraising towards €62,000 to help Anne-Marie access specialist treatment and care in Germany.

So we decided to turn that number into a challenge of our own.

40 people. 5 waves. 1 hour each.

Starting at 8am, participants will rotate between the Ski, Bike and Sled while wearing our live heart-rate monitors.

Every minute of effort earns Heart Points on screen.
Together, we’re going after 62,000.
Those taking part will also gather sponsorship in the lead-up to the day, helping raise funds and awareness for Anne-Marie and her family.

For someone who has spent so much of her life showing up for other people, now it’s our opportunity to show up for her.

We’ll be sharing much more as we get closer to October 31st.

And if you’d like to take part, sponsor someone, or simply find out how you can get involved, just send us a message. ❤️

Every Beat Counts.

One thing we hear from so many mothers…

“I feel guilty spending the time or money on myself.”

Everything goes towards the kids. Everyone else comes first. And looking after yourself can almost start to feel like a luxury.

Elena’s story is a brilliant reminder to flip that thinking. ❤️

Investing in your own health, strength and wellbeing isn’t selfish — and it isn’t a luxury.

It’s a necessity.

Because when you feel stronger, healthier and happier in yourself, that version of you comes home too.

Sometimes putting yourself first for a few hours each week is one of the best things you can do for everyone around you.

Amazing to hear Elena’s experience with us at DGC 💙

Life is for living.

For Louise, one of the biggest changes has simply been staying consistent.

Something she admits she had never really been able to do before.

As she got a little further into life, she knew she needed to start thinking differently about her health and what she wanted the years ahead to look like.

She didn’t want to slow down.

She wanted to stay active, feel strong, have energy and continue doing the things she enjoys for as long as possible.

That meant finding something she could actually stick with, not for a few weeks or a few months, but as part of her life.

And that’s exactly what she’s done. 🙌

Louise’s story is a brilliant reminder that it’s never about where you’re starting from.

It’s about building something you can keep going.

Well done Louise incredible 👏

We get it. You’re unsure.

Will I stick to it? Will I enjoy it? Is it worth the cost? Is it actually right for me?

Catriona had spent years trying different places, never really enjoying them or finding something she could stick with.

Then she joined our 6-Week Foundations Programme.

It wasn’t about pushing harder.

It was about finding the right choices, the right support and an environment she actually enjoyed being part of.

Now training is something she enjoys, has fun with and wants to keep doing.

You don’t need more motivation or willpower, you just need to find what works for you.

That’s what Foundations is about. 💙

We hear this more than you might think.

Maybe it’s been years since you trained.
Maybe you don’t feel fit enough yet.
Maybe you’ve never really enjoyed gyms.
Or maybe you’re worried you won’t know what you’re doing.

That’s exactly why we’ve built DGC differently.

You’re not expected to walk through the door already knowing everything.

We coach you. We meet you where you’re at. We help you build confidence gradually. And most importantly, you become part of a community where people actually know your name and want to see you doing well.

For us, it’s never just about getting fitter.

It’s about helping you feel comfortable enough to start, supported enough to keep going, and confident enough to realise what you’re capable of.

The hardest part might just be walking through the door for the first time.

We’ll help with the rest. 💙

Training after 40 isn’t just about changing your exercises - Because your life has changed too.

In our 20s, many of us could train hard, sleep badly, recover quickly and go again.

Fast forward 15–20 years and things can look very different.

Work is busier.Kids need you.Responsibilities increase.Sleep might not be as good.Your body doesn’t always recover as quickly. And your nervous system is already dealing with the demands of everyday life.

So adding more stress through harder and harder training isn’t always the answer.

Training needs to become smarter.

🏋️ Strength matters more than ever as we aim to maintain muscle, bone health and physical independence.

❤️ Fitness matters, not just for how you look, but for your heart, energy and long-term health.

🧘 Recovery matters because your body doesn’t separate “gym stress” from work stress, poor sleep, family pressures and everything else life throws at you.

But there’s another part we often forget…

Connection matters too.

As we get older, our world can easily become:

Work → Kids → Home → Repeat.

We spend years looking after everyone else and somewhere along the way, we stop making time for ourselves.

That’s why training after 40 can be about so much more than sets, reps and calories.

It can be your hour.

A place to switch off.A community to belong to.People to have a laugh with.A chance to build your body rather than constantly run it into the ground.

After 40, you don’t need to prove how hard you can train.

You need to build a body, mind and lifestyle that allows you to keep doing the things you love for years to come.

We’re looking for the next coach to join our team!

Over the last few years, DGC has continued to grow into something that we believe is much more than a gym.

We now work with over 130 people every week, helping them improve not only their fitness, but their strength, confidence, mindset, wellbeing and overall quality of life.

And now, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

This role could be for someone early in their coaching career who wants the right environment to learn and develop, or an experienced coach who feels ready for more responsibility and potentially wants to progress towards a Head Coach position.

We want to create a different type of career in the fitness industry.

One where you can:

🏋️ Do what you love and coach people
📚 Keep learning and developing
📈 Progress your role and earning potential
🤝 Work closely as part of a team
💙 Make a genuine impact on people
🏡 Have a career without feeling like you need to work every hour of the day to make it work

You’ll be involved across our Small Group PT, larger group sessions and wellness offering, while working within our coaching systems and playing an active role in the DGC community.

We’re not necessarily looking for the finished article.

We’re looking for the right person, someone with energy, care, ambition, a willingness to learn and who believes in what we’re trying to build.

Because for us, the message behind DGC is simple:

Life is for Living.

If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love to hear from you.

A brilliant morning launching the next evolution in how we train at DGC 🙌

We started with a workshop to understand what our heart rate is actually telling us - before putting it into practice with a live ENDURE demo 🔥

This isn’t about pushing harder or chasing the red zone every session.

It’s about training smarter, understanding your body and knowing when to push, and when to pull back.

Another step forward in helping our community get more from their training, their health and ultimately, their life.

18/08/2026

Joining DGC is about more than just joining a gym.

It’s about having coaches who know you, a community that supports you, and an approach that looks after your strength, fitness and overall wellbeing.

More than a gym. A place to feel better, move better and live better.
