All of us here at CH Chemists are deeply saddened by the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear friend, Tommy Dowling.
Tommy’s loss is immeasurable. Over the years, he guided us through countless refits, layout changes, building redesigns, and repairs that to others may have seemed insurmountable. No matter the challenge, Tommy was always only a phone call away, ready to help whenever we needed him.
His skills extended far beyond the electrical. Tommy was someone who truly cared, helped to organise walking trips and outings, bringing people together — he took the time to get to know everyone and had a remarkable way of making life brighter for those around him. With his distinctive humour, warmth of spirit, and steady presence, he guided us through many near mishaps, averting crises and calming difficult situations with reassurance and kindness.
Tommy was part of the CH family, and there are simply no words to express the depth of our loss. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
Our thoughts are with his wife, Marcella, and the Dowling and Herlihy families at this incredibly difficult time.
