We also have female Physiotherapists specialised in treating Women's Health conditions including incontinence, prolapses and pelvic pain. Services include injury management advice, manual therapy, spinal manipulation, exercise prescription, acupuncture and rehabilitation programmes. We are an ACC registered provider, hold an ACC Physiotherapy Services contract and various ACC rehabilitation contracts.

Walking might be the most underrated form of exercise!
Recent large-scale studies show that regular walking can:

🫀 Improve heart health by lowering blood pressure, resting heart rate, and cholesterol
🧠 Support mental wellbeing, with reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety
💪 Improve aerobic fitness, strength, and functional capacity
⚖️ Support healthy weight and body composition
🧓 Reduce risk of long-term chronic disease

Even more importantly, you don’t need extreme volumes to see benefits. Research shows that brisk walking for as little as 15 minutes a day is associated with significantly lower risk of cardiovascular disease and early mortality, and the benefits increase with consistent movement throughout the week.
