Over the next wee while, I want to share with you all in greater detail the aspects of my work, so it can be better understood. Simply put, I help people heal and release deep subconscious issues to move towards reconnecting with their authentic self and to create a joyful, fulfilling life. I do this through a variety of approaches / techniques depending on where the client is on their journey and what they're needing at that time.

Today, I introduce PARTS WORK:
Parts work is a process of connecting to various parts of self fragmented through trauma / stress that carry unresolved emotion, conditioning, limiting beliefs, attachments, and other issues. It is an approach that supports trauma recovery by gently healing difficult experiences without overwhelming the nervous system.

The process is relatively simply but insanely effective. Some of the benefits I've witnessed after one session include:
-not wanting to ever have children to considering it as a very real option
-the opening of a very supressed voice to immediately speaking ones truth without fear
-the complete dissolution of fear of men
-long-term repeating emotional triggers completing dissolving

This work shifts issues at a deep SUBCONSCIOUS level. So if you're struggling to release long-standing patterns, this approach may work for you!

Shame is one of the lowest frequency emotional programs. It is a deeply immobilising feeling connected to the belief that something is fundamentally wrong, bad, unworthy, or unacceptable about who you are. Shame often develops when we experience rejection, criticism, humiliation, neglect, abuse, emotional invalidation, or repeated messages of being "too much" or "not enough".

This meditation will assist you to journey inwards to connect to the parts of you holding shame. It is a process of deep connection and release at a cellular and energetic level, promoting an increased sense of emotional lightness, self-worth, and confidence. It will help release survival patterns and self-sabotage loops.

Parenting can bring deep love...and experiences of guilt. Those moments we wished we handled differently. The times we felt overwhelmed, exhausted, reactive, or "not enough". Carrying the weight of guilt quietly drains our nervous system, impacts our confidence, and keeps us stuck in cycles of shame and self-criticism.
This meditation intends to soften those burdens. Through a safe, compassionate opportunity to connect to the deeper parts of self holding guilt comes an opportunity to re-frame, heal, and remember that parenthood is not perfection.

What an impactful and powerful three days at our Healthy Relationships wānanga! We witnessed some huge shifts within the group over what really was a short period of time. It reiterates what is possible when we allow ourselves to go deep within and start to unravel all of the stories, trauma, and beliefs that hold us in stuck places, creating space to reconnect with our authentic essence. Huge gratitude for for co-creating such a safe, trusting environment.

Recently I had someone reach out and question why I would practice energy healing, because “it has no scientific evidence”. I could probably spend hours speaking to this, not just the limitations to what human’s call “science” but also the in-depth evidence that now exists supporting the effectiveness of energy work in healing mental, emotional, and physical issues.

So here is a brief summary of SOME of the evidence that exists:
- Numerous peer-review studies showing biological effects from biofield interventions:
o altered gene expression in cancer cells,
o reduced invasiveness of pancreatic cancer cells in laboratory settings,
o autonomic nervous system changes,
o reductions in anxiety and distress,
o and improved subjective wellbeing in cancer patients.

- Cancer treatment units using 111hz to destroy cancer cells (observed under microscope).

- Bioimaging technology detecting changes in the biofield pre-disease, and real-time changes in biofield imaging during energy healing sessions.

- A 2004 systematic review found beneficial neuropsychiatric outcomes from sound therapy in moderate and severe mental health issues (Cassola et al., 2004).

And the list goes on…

Let’s not forget the substantial body of anecdotal reports supporting the effectiveness of energy work. What is more powerful than real-time personal experience?

Take a look at our current health care system that is based on “science” – how is it healing people of chronic illness? Short answer – it isn’t. I have spoken before on this. It is there to make people sick and keep people sick. To mask symptoms and push trauma, toxins, and chemicals deeper into cells. Sick people make money, sick people are easier to control.

Come on, wake up humanity.

Our body and brain is primarily wired to keep us safe and alive - "surviving not thriving". When we don't feel safe, we react according to our conditioned protective patterns.
Remember, these patterns aren't flawed - they were created to protect you in a time where other more adaptive responses weren't available. But as we move forward in life these old patterns no longer serve us and tend to create more harm than good.
I invite you to reflect on the following questions:
- what people or situations lead me to feel unsafe?
- how do I respond when in a state of fear/protection?
- what regulation tools are available to me to help me regulate and respond to perceived threat (rather than react)?
Developing regulation tools can assist you to manage nervous system responses while you work through unpacking and healing the underlying trauma. Some examples are:
- slow, conscious belly breathing
- orienting - look around you and come into this moment. Am I really unsafe or is this the past being remembered in my body?
- bilateral tapping
- polyvagal eye movements
