Accessible cardiac care with telehealth appointments

A number of our clients struggle to attend in-person appointments, whether due to mobility issues or because they live rurally, or outside the Waikato region.
As part of our focus on making timely cardiac care accessible to more New Zealanders, we offer telehealth appointments, where you'll receive the same standard of care, but from the comfort of home.

While some appointments must happen in person whenever possible, we are happy to offer online and phone options.

We encourage families to get involved throughout your monitoring and treatment. You’re welcome to bring a support person to consultations and participate in the process alongside you. Open communication helps everyone feel informed and confident about what’s ahead.

We also know that recovery doesn’t just involve the patient. Our team is here to guide families too, explaining what to expect after surgery, offering advice to support recovery, and helping them feel part of the process. When family and clinicians work together, it makes a real difference to recovery and wellbeing.
