Yoga for Wāhine - I created this course with wāhine like my students, friends and self in mind - what I couldn’t find anywhere else, so that there was a space for women to grow their practice with grace, support and knowledge.

A space to empower and nourish. Yoga that you can continue throughout your seasons, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.

Through yoga nidra/ rongoā moemoeā, guided deep relaxation, we can learn to relax our body and mind. For some it is a profound and transformative experience💜

I love how easy it is to practice,simply lying down and listening , I love how blissful it can be, and I’m amazed at how the body- mind is afterwards.

As a practice I don’t do it often enough. But as a teacher I offer it every time. It is often students favourite part if the class and just as important as the movement practice.

Research also shows that dopamine can increase by up to 65% after practising!

What are your favourite props for yoga? Cushions are a favourite go too and in abundance around my whare! You don’t need fancy equipment or too spend lots of money, use whatever you have , folded blankets or towels can also be used in place of cushions!

Ko tō wā tēnei - This is your time. We enter week 5 of our course, we will glide into this week with mindful movement, kindle warmth from within and nourish the nervous system.

There’s no need to perform, keep up or hold on. We will end with a deep exhale and letting go.

Nourish and Nest • Autumn -Winter Series of Yoga for Wāhine- we are half way through our Live sessions and loving it !

Last night we practiced nourishing restorative poses and a long Rongoā Moemoeā -guided relaxation.

Week Three we practiced balance poses for strength, physical and mental balance, focus and one pointed awareness.

There’s always space for breathing, letting go, resting and aroha in each class…real yoga for real bodies with midlife wāhine at the centre ✨

I am looking forward to what next week brings!

I used Linsey’s Yoga For Wahine online course to help me recuperate from a serious condition and also post operation for it.

I loved it!

Linsey’s style of teaching is very restorative. And her knowledge of what women really do need for their body, is impressive.

In my unwell state, I was able to do more in the classes than I thought that I could. And it was healing me on a very subtle level.

As well as the physical benefits, the profound reduction in stress levels is impressive.

Linsey has decades of experience with practising and teaching yoga. From beginners through to the deeper aspects.

I one hundred per cent recommend her style and knowledge of yoga. Yoga for Wāhine is a great place to start. And then to continue.

You will love it and what it does for you!
