Kossuth County Community Health has MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccines available and encourages residents to review their vaccination status.

With confirmed measles cases reported in Iowa, now is the time to make sure you're protected.

Kossuth County Community Health has Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccines available and is encouraging residents to ensure they are protected. With confirmed measles cases reported in Iowa, now is an important time to review your vaccination status and take steps to stay protected.

👉Measles is highly contagious, and approximately 95% of the population must be vaccinated to help prevent the disease from spreading within our communities. Maintaining high vaccination rates helps protect infants, individuals with weakened immune systems, and others who may be at increased risk of serious illness.

👉Parents who have questions about their child's vaccination status or eligibility for an early MMR dose are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider. Anyone without documentation of measles vaccination, or who is unsure of their vaccination status, should receive at least one dose of the MMR vaccine.
