"Back in November, I had a hip replacement and ended up having complications, which lead to me having another surgery. This required me to have a wound vac. It was definitely a very dark time in my life. I had lost trust in health care workers as a whole.

I was in a lot of pain, but most of all I was scared and ready to give up! Then I was referred to TJ.

OMG! What a game changer this was!!!! I went from dreading my wound change to almost looking forward to being able to leave my house even if it was for wound care. TJ and Kait made me feel safe and that my feelings were valid.

TJ took his time and never made my visit feel rushed. That was very important for me because of the bad experiences I had prior.

Then there’s Sara who sits at the front desk and schedules our appointments. She is such a ray of sunshine, always greeting you with a smile asking you how you’re doing. Five months later, today was my last wound care appointment! What a long journey this has been.

June is Wound Healing Awareness month! And this week specifically is Certified Wound Specialist week! 🙌🏻

👉This one was an incredible win❗️ Jim was a patient with diabetes, six wounds on his right foot, and toe pressures of 16 mmHg (pressures of 40 mmHg are typically required for healing)! His vascular surgeon was recommending amputation, so we pulled out all the stops!

✅We used a multifaceted approach to improve blood flow to the foot and toes, including arterial pumps from BioTab, as well as electrical stimulation every visit. We implemented a protein rich diet, and Juven supplements for wound healing.

Jim was an absolute rock star, compliant to a T, and followed every recommendation with determination. 💪

I couldn't be more PROUD to read Jim's wonderful review, and the fact that he is now healed! We wish him the ABSOLUTE best for a happy and healthy summer! ❤️‍🩹✨
