Family First Wellness Center (Formerly Chiropractic Solutions of Winter Park) was established in 2002 by Dr. Jeffrey Haskel. At that time, Dr. Haskel made a decision to have a practice that allowed him to provide individual attention to patients. Dr. Kelly Fredricks joined him in practice in 2014 and after 6 years together Dr. Fredricks became the new owner of FFWC in October 2020. After a thoroug

h exam with Dr. Fredricks a personalized wellness plan will be created based on your needs. Every “body” is different and, as a result, every care plan is different. Their commitment to helping people heal their bodies by avoiding drugs or surgery has led him to continually seek new knowledge. At Family First Wellness Center we strive to seek the best alternative solutions to health concerns. At this time, we offer the following:

Chiropractic adjustments, using a gentle touch method
Pre/Postnatal chiropractic care
Webster technique
Infant and pediatric chiropractic care
Laser therapy (see “About Laser” page)
Rehabilitative Exercise
Decompression/Traction
Graston soft tissue mobilization
Neurospinal Functionality Testing
PEMF Therapy

We are not in network with insurance providers however offer very affordable self pay rates that are comparable or sometimes lower than a specialist co-pay. We do accept auto insurance for auto accident injuries as well as Medicare. In addition, Dr. Haskel and Dr. Fredricks also offer reasonable payment plans for individuals and families. All terms will be discussed prior to treatment. If you are interested in learning more about our practice or any of the procedures please feel free to call for a free 15 minute consultation.

Tongue ties and lip ties are often talked about as feeding issues, but what if there’s more to the story?

If your baby struggles with latching, makes clicking sounds while feeding, seems constantly hungry, or is dealing with reflux, colic, or poor sleep, it may be worth taking a closer look.

In today’s Wellness Wednesday, Dr. Kelly kicks off a 4-part series exploring tongue ties, lip ties, and the connection to your baby’s overall health and nervous system.

Have questions about tongue ties or feeding challenges? Drop them in the comments below!

Tongue and lip ties aren’t always obvious. Sometimes the signs show up in feeding patterns, comfort, sleep, or overall regulation. That’s why it’s important to look at the whole picture—not just the number on the scale.

If you’ve noticed feeding challenges or have questions about tongue or lip ties, we’re here to help support your family’s journey. 💙

Supporting high functioning anxiety isn’t about “just calming down.”

It’s about helping the nervous system feel safe, regulated, and balanced again. 🤍

This week on Wellness Wednesday, Dr. Kelly is talking about natural ways to support the nervous system and why addressing the root cause matters—not just the symptoms.

Better sleep.
Improved emotional regulation.
Less overwhelm.
A calmer, more connected body.

Thank you for following along with this month’s Wellness Wednesday series! Next month, we’ll be diving into: Tongue tied and lip tied: understanding feeding struggles and what your baby really needs. 👶✨
