I've worked in direct primary care and urgent care each for over 10 years and have operated my own urgent care center. Now doing full-on DPC. The mindset of DPC is so different from urgent care. Let's compare the philosophies, staff, workflow, and incentives of urgent care centers with DPC — they're not even close to the same. DPC is more than a payment model.
