At Creating Brighter Futures, we provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children who are exhibiting developmental delays, or have already been diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders. Our goal is to provide the skills, teaching environments, and learning opportunities necessary to improve the quality of life for each of our clients in a center-based setting. Ea

The "Together Let's Sing, Dance, and Jam!" virtual Music Therapy Event is next Wednesday, September 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants will interact with others in their age group and bring their own items from around their home to jam with! Be ready to move and groove! 🎶🥁📯

Join them at your local MJR theater on Saturday, September 26th for a Sensory-Friendly showing of Forgotten Island! Showtimes will vary by location and will be the first showing of the day. 🧩💜💛

Sensory Friendly showtimes at MJR are designed to feature brighter house lights, lowered volume, and open captions while also providing an opportunity for moviegoers to bring in their own personal devices, along with any food times for those with dietary restrictions.

Their new Youth Council is for youth with disabilities ages 14-26. Those living in Washtenaw, Monroe or Livingston counties are welcome to apply! Becoming a member on the council provides opportunities in professional and personal development, community leadership, and mentorship with disabled professionals. Plus, council members will also receive a $300 stipend for their participation! 👫💸👋

We can't believe it's the last week of our Summer Groups already! What a fun and wild time we've had this summer! Thank you to everyone who has made it as amazing as it has been and a BIG thank you to everyone who has donated from our Amazon Wishlist as well!
