Our office is closed today as we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything to protect our country. If you’re spending the day at home with your kids, here’s a simple and heartfelt craft to help them understand the meaning behind this day.
🎨 Easy Soldier Paper Craft
Using construction paper, a little paint, and your child’s tiny thumbs, you can create a sweet soldier with a camouflage uniform made from thumbprint “paint dabs.” Add a popsicle‑stick sign that says “Thank You” — or even better, let your child write a personal note if they know a veteran or active‑duty hero in your family.

It’s a beautiful way to spark gratitude, creativity, and conversation about courage and sacrifice. As summer approaches, we hope you enjoy making memories, exploring new crafts, and filling your home with artwork that tells a story.
