🔑 Keyed Alike, Keyed Different… what does it all mean?

One of the first things to check before ordering new door hardware, is the backset — the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the bore hole.

Two of the most common residential backsets are:

📏 2-3/8"
📏 2-3/4"

That little measurement can make a BIG difference when choosing the right hardware.
