Through this partnership, newborns at Athens-Limestone Hospital will have the opportunity to enroll and receive free books delivered to their homes, helping inspire a lifelong love of reading from the very beginning!

Midwives, physicians, and community partners recently gathered at Athens-Limestone Hospital for a special luncheon facilitated by Mother-Baby Nurse Manager Kacey Parker in recognition of the International Day of the Midwife. 💚

Hosted by The MOM Foundation, this event was about more than sharing a meal — it was about building trust, strengthening communication, and working together to improve maternal health and birth outcomes in our community.

When we take time to listen, respect each role, and stay focused on what matters most — safe, supported mothers and babies — we create a stronger, more connected system of care for everyone.

We’re grateful for the meaningful conversations, the collaboration, and the shared commitment to making a difference.
