Dr. Fenton specializes in oncology and hematology and now sees patients at Atlanta Cancer Care Cu***ng, part of the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute network.

Her approach to care is grounded in kindness, presence, and thoroughness. As she puts it, "Treat people nicely, strive to be better every day, and every day is better than the one before."

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month. Blood cancers affect people of every age, and awareness starts with knowing the signs.

Nearly 192,030 new cases are expected in the US this year, and someone is diagnosed roughly every three minutes. More than 1.5 million people nationwide are living with or in remission from a blood cancer right now.

Early detection continues to change outcomes for people facing these diagnoses. Knowing the symptoms and staying in tune with your body goes a long way.

Tamara Anderson, from our Conyers office was honored with the Distinguished Service Award for Leadership Excellence at the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute's annual nursing conference.

Tamara has spent 18 years in oncology nursing, and her passion for connecting with people shows in everything she does. Big weekend for our ACC team! Our physicians spent it right where they love to be: out in the community.

Dr. Sidhu shared expertise on breast, prostate, and skin cancer at the Terrence J. Foster Golf Tournament, while Dr. Amelia Zelnak brought the latest breast cancer research to fellow oncologists at GASCO with her presentation on the Best of ASCO® abstracts. Meanwhile, Dr. Moon Fenton represented the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation alongside board member Bob Boyd, keeping our mission of giving back front and center.

Different rooms, same mission: showing up for Atlanta, in and outside of the perimeter.

Thank you, Conyers!💚

What an incredible turnout at our skin and prostate cancer screening event at our Conyers location! We’re so grateful to everyone who took time out of their day to be proactive about their health. Early detection save lives, and every person who showed up made a difference for themselves and their families.

A huge thank you also goes out to our amazing staff who volunteered their time to make sure every person who came through was cared for with compassion. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.
