Clinical Operations Team Member Highlight: Andrew Jatskiv, MD, Chief of Hospital Medicine

We’re proud to recognize Dr. Andrew Jatskiv, who leads our hospital medicine program at VEA Health with a strong focus on clinical performance and patient outcomes. In addition to his role with VEA, he serves as Vice Chief of Staff and Medical Director at Connally Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Jatskiv completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and earned his medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians and is known for his collaborative leadership and commitment to high-quality, coordinated care.

Twenty of our providers, including physicians and APPs, recently completed the Center for Emergency Health Sciences’ PEP-C (Physicians Emergency Procedures Course), an intensive, hands-on training focused on critical emergency procedures including airway management, venous access, chest tubes, and more.

Continuous education and hands-on training are essential to delivering the highest level of emergency care, and we’re incredibly proud of our team’s commitment to learning, growth, and clinical excellence.
