💙 We had a blast at the Austin Congenital Heart Walk!

From the smiles and inspiring stories to every step around Girard Kinney Park at Mueller, this event brought together families, survivors and supporters on a beautiful morning.

We came together to honor the Heart Warriors we've lost and to celebrate those who are still living with CHD. Participation continues to help raise awareness and support life-changing congenital heart care and research.

We’re grateful to everyone who made this year’s Austin Congenital Heart Walk so special. 👟

Compassionate care doesn’t always happen at the bedside—it happens wherever families need support. 🐝✨

We’re proud to celebrate Dell Children’s BEE Award honorees Karen Easley and Rebecca Dimas from our Food & Nutrition Services team.

Nominated by a colleague, Karen and Rebecca stayed after their shifts to help assemble a comfort cart for a family navigating an incredibly difficult moment. Their compassion, selflessness and willingness to step in reflect the compassionate care provided every day at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Thank you, Karen and Rebecca, for living out our mission of compassionate care! 👏👏

Born with a complex congenital heart defect, Ben had already endured multiple open-heart surgeries when he was told another operation might not be possible.

Looking for a second opinion, he traveled from Georgia to the nationally ranked Texas Center for Pediatric & Congenital Heart Disease at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, where he found more than expert care—he found hope.

Today, Ben is planning his wedding, building his career and giving back through a nonprofit inspired by his own journey.

His story is a reminder that the right team can change more than a diagnosis. It can change what's possible.
