Huge congratulations to our exclusive sourcing partner, Coteau Grove Farms, on being named a finalist for the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association's 2026 National Breeder of the Year Award.

Coteau Grove Farms is also the exclusive source of the umbilical cord tissue behind equicenta® CTM. Every allograft starts with cords from full-term natural deliveries at CGF, collected under the same rigorous standard of care that built their breeding program.

🐎 Congratulations, Keith and Ginger Myers and the entire Coteau Grove Farms team!

Wow! Huge congratulations to Coteau Grove Farms! 🙌

🙌 Coteau Grove Farms has been named a finalist for the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association's (TOBA) National Breeder of the Year award, one of the highest honors a breeding operation can receive in the U.S. Thoroughbred industry.

TOBA's National Awards are considered among the premier honors in the U.S. Thoroughbred breeding and ownership community. Selection as a finalist is not a participation award — it is recognition by industry peers that a breeding program has reached a level of national excellence.

Because the Thoroughbred industry is relatively small and tightly connected, the people who recognize excellence tend to know one another. Being selected as a finalist places Coteau Grove Farms among a very select group of operations recognized nationally.

The recognition carries added weight given the farm's history. Coteau Grove Farms was founded in 2008. In roughly 18 years, the operation has built a breeding program now recognized alongside operations that, in many cases, have been established for generations and have far greater scale and resources.

Coteau Grove Farms traces its roots to November 2008, when Keith and Ginger Myers purchased eight broodmares at the Keeneland November sale, setting out to build a premier Louisiana breeding operation capable of competing regionally and nationally. That foundation has since grown into a 478-acre farm in Sunset, Louisiana, featuring professional stables and what is believed to be the largest Eurociser in North America, all built around a philosophy of individualized care for every horse.

Some of Coteau Grove Farms’ notable recent graduates since 2021 include the following:

· Grade 1 winner No Parole

· Multiple Grade 2 winner and millionaire Touchuponastar

· Grade 3 winner/Grade 1-placed and all-time leading Louisiana-bred Tumbarumba

· Grade 2 winner Margie’s Intention

· Multiple Stakes winner and champion Louisiana-bred 2 year old filly of 2025 Little Miss Curlin

· Multiple stakes winners Midnight Passion, Cosmic Train, Allnight Moonlight, Late September, Liberal Lady, Louisiana Liberty, etc

The nomination reflects the belief among industry leaders that Coteau Grove Farms' program has demonstrated excellence in:

• Quality of horses produced

• Racing success of its breeding program

• Professionalism

• Long-term stewardship of bloodlines

• Contribution to the thoroughbred industry

TOBA's National Awards recognize sustained achievement rather than a single successful horse or season,

“Being named a TOBA National Breeder of the Year finalist is an honor that will follow Coteau Grove Farms indefinitely,” said Keith Myers, owner of Coteau Grove Farms.

“This nomination belongs to everyone who has worked alongside us — our staff, our veterinarians, and the trainers and owners who believed in our horses,” Myers added. “We started with eight mares in 2008. To be mentioned today alongside breeding operations with generations of history behind them is something Ginger and I never take for granted.”

“Coteau Grove Farms being named a national finalist is a proud moment for Louisiana’s entire Thoroughbred industry,” said Roger Heitzmann III, Secretary-Treasurer of the Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association. “Keith and Ginger built this program from eight mares into a national contender in less than two decades, and that achievement puts a well-deserved spotlight on what Louisiana breeders can accomplish on the national stage.”

🤠 Wow, TEVA Summer CE Symposium! Special thanks to the TEVA team and everyone who sponsored and attended.

Honestly, the best part wasn't the booth or the banners (though we loved seeing our disco vial on display). It was the conversations. Vets pulling us aside to talk through a tough case, ask questions about our recently published clinical study, and dig into where regenerative equine medicine is headed next. That's the stuff that matters. That's why we show up.

The TEVA Gala Silent Auction was a huge success! They were able to raise $254,090 for the Texas Equine Foundation. We're still in awe of that number, and so proud to be a part of supporting the future of equine medicine. And a special thank you to Espuela Design Co for their donation in support of the Texas Equine Foundation Silent Auction Gala!

And if you caught the luncheon, those centerpieces? Cloth braids, twinkle lights, and glitter vials floating in vases designed to echo an equine umbilical cords. Because if we're doing science, we might as well make it beautiful too.

To everyone who stopped by, said hi, or shared a case with us, thank you. Truly. See you at the next one.

WE ARE SO PROUD TO SHARE THIS. 🪩🐎🔬

The peer-reviewed clinical trial evaluating equicenta® CTM in performance horses is now available in Frontiers in Veterinary Science.

This is a major moment for the Equine Performance Labs team, for the veterinarians and researchers who helped make this study possible, and for the future of evidence-based equine musculoskeletal care.

In a multi-center, pragmatic prospective controlled trial of 138 performance horses, equicenta® CTM was associated with:

• Greater cumulative improvement in pain and swelling by Week 2
• Greater cumulative improvement in lameness by Week 4
• Better clinical outcomes through Week 12
• 2.72:1 odds of returning to or exceeding prior performance at 26 weeks compared with clinician-selected standard care

Real performance horses. Real-world cases. Peer-reviewed data.

We believe horses deserve more than promises. They deserve progress supported by science, rigorous research, and a team that refuses to settle for “good enough.”

To every veterinarian, researcher, horse owner, and performance horse who contributed to this work: thank you. This publication is a milestone we are incredibly proud to celebrate, and it is only the beginning. :test_tube: :racehorse: :tada:

TEVA! 🐎 Here we come! The EPL team is gearing up for the TEVA Summer CE Symposium in Horseshoe Bay, and the truth is, it's the room itself we're excited about. Veterinarians. The people on the front lines of every equine case, making the real calls when a horse needs them most.

Those are the conversations we live for: the tough cases, the "what would you do here" moments, the deep dives into what clinicians are actually seeing in practice. We're bringing the equicenta® CTM science and we can't wait to get into it with the people who know this world best.

We are honored to sponsor and support the hard work it takes to reach the highest level of performance. Which is why, we’ve curated the Vet Lounge for the people who make it all possible — the veterinarians, athletes, grooms, and caretakers behind every horse. Because this level of sport doesn’t happen without you.

More than anything, this is a space to just be. To step away for a moment, recharge, and connect with the people who understand the work, the pressure, and the passion behind it all.

In the stables, we’re all family — and this is an extension of that.
